Here are some new fable 3 screens, doesn't look amazing but a clear improvement from Fable 2

looks like screen shots from fable 2 which looked like ass. the color was over done, the pop-in of the enviroments (mainly bush and tree's) was pathetic, the shadows were screwed up, the screen tearing was annoying, and the art style still sucks. there is nothing good about the fable series to be honest. it will have the same 50 year ols story line, the dumb fart jokes, and the lame ass voice acting. the gameplay will still be painfully simplistic and the difficulty setting will be set on fetus.
Looks good enough and I'm chomping at the bit to play through this one - hope it delivers the AAA goods. :D
Because Albion neighbours TamrielWhy do most of the characters in the screenshots have the 'Oblivion face'?
Vesica_Prime
Looks fine to me. I just cannot wait to build the hopes of Albion as I rise to the throne, only to become the very devil after doing so. Besides, it will make being good all the sweeter on my second play through.
Yes, Fable may be watered down RPG-wise, but I simply fell in love with Albion in the first Fable. It has a wonderful fantasy atmosphere and the game is just plain old good fun. Kind of the point, when it is all said and done. Although II was a pretty big disappointment for me, I think III will make up for it and deliver. Pre-ordered and paid for.:)
[QUOTE="JonSnow777"]I know, everytime we get a KZ3 pic, "Its too gray, GrayZone 3" or "Its too brown/orange/yellow, the game is gonna flop"lol people are really, really critical about screenshots here. Jesus.
J-WOW
I know, right? And it's like, come on. Those screenshots look GOOD. If you'd have seen them 5 years ago, you'd have been like "There's no way these can be real!"
Here's a Joystiq preview of the game (haven't read it yet, but was going to comment I was excited about this game just as I checked Joystiq lol).
For someone that said he dosen't think they've reqched the full potential of the 360 or even close. This dosen't seem to be pushing it very hard. I don't think he counts other games, maybe he just looks at Fable.emperorzhang66
I like how it instantly loads the "interactive menu". That is a feat of its own :P
Anyway, from GS hands on:
Speaking of enemies, the revamped combat system that works amazingly well, even in the work in progress version of the game we tried.

Thanks for the heads-up (I usually don't check GS for news or previews unless posted by someone in forums lol). Anyway, here's a link to the GS preview Salty's talking about.
Why is there a brown filter?mystervj
That's sepia. It's meant to make it look either cinematic or like a flashback, I'd imagine.
Again, the combat seems to be better, according to GS's hands on:Looks good enough, i like the art style. It just need to be alot better than the second one gameplay wise to me.

Ha, well ironically, I only saw that because someone posted it in the comments section of the Hands-on. :PThanks for the heads-up (I usually don't check GS for news or previews unless posted by someone in forums lol). Anyway, here's a link to the GS preview Salty's talking about.

Me thinks it will. From what I've seen, read and heard, the game will be an improvement over the last one. Is that enough to push it to AAA status? guess we'll find out soon enough!Looks good enough and I'm chomping at the bit to play through this one - hope it delivers the AAA goods. :D

People say this game looks good, but IMO it looks like garbage and could be done much better on the 360. Fable was never known for its graphics so why do people ramp about it.
Thats the most realistic hair I've ever seen.
EnergyAbsorber
Anyway, those bullshots look great, but I'm more interested in how they increased gameplay and how the PC version will play
I love Fable and while the graphics have been ok, the art direction of the games is always brilliant, looking at the shots at least there will be more of a difference in are characters appearance this time.
Im looking forward to this there looks to be a lot of improvements, and it seems to be a lot more solid, but im one of the people who enjoyed Fable and Fable 2 a lot so.
I thought 2 was a lot better than 1. Why were you so disappointed with 2?Looks fine to me. I just cannot wait to build the hopes of Albion as I rise to the throne, only to become the very devil after doing so. Besides, it will make being good all the sweeter on my second play through.

Looks fine. Hoping this one brings back some armor as opposed to different dyes to 'customize' my appearance. Also a map that works, as well as a semblance of exploration, rather than some dog showing you where chests are. My bar is low for this game though.
