Bravely Default Demo Features Content Not in Main Game

This seems like such a great idea. Demos should be more like this.

An extended demo for Bravely Default will arrive on the 3DS eShop on January 2, 2014. The demo includes a special mission that won’t be included in the main game and will allow players to get 20 StreetPass tags and obtain items that will be unlocked in Bravely Default once it launches. - IGN

This isn't really exciting because Europe has had the demo for weeks and the game itself for a while now.

Yes. If you're planning on buying this game, you should also check out the demo. It unlocks little extras for the main game. The demo itself doesn't contain any spoilers.

It's mostly just fetch quests though.

Could run into problems. Dev creates awesome demo, does not represent full game. People are then disappointed.

I assume this is for a US demo.
