Brawl is now a week away

I ordered mine from Sears, getting it on Tuesday. 8)

Haha, sorry, didn't mean to be mean. I'm freakin excited too. Just trying to not think about it too much though or the week takes forever.

Thank GOD! We can finally put to rest all the hype. And, if it has a decent 1 player single mode, I may just get it.

Thank GOD! We can finally put to rest all the hype. And, if it has a decent 1 player single mode, I may just get it.

Who buys a fighting game for it's single player? Subspace is only a side-feature in Brawl (a really fleshed-out, 8 hour side feature). But then there's also the Homerun mode, target test, multi-man brawl, CIassic mode, All Star/Boss Rush mode, and a few other things. Not to mention the (I believe) 500+ trophies, and who-knows-how-many stickers to collect. Finally, there's over 40 stages (and a stage builder), over 300 songs, and 35 characters.

Soul Calibur for the Dreamcast had a pretty decent Adventure Mode. I haven't seen anything like it in a fighting game since then.

I might practice with SSBM a few times this week to prepare myself and regain some skill.

I wanted to get Professor Layton for the DS with my $10 card I got for preordering Brawl and then play that until picking up SSBB in the store but instead I have to wait until they mail it to me to get Brawl and my card. So instead I'll probably work on getting my Wii online this week.
