New Darksiders Game to Be Announced at E3 2019, A Prequel or a Reboot?

New Darksiders Game (apparently Darksiders 4) will be announced at E3 2019 by THQ Nordic, according to a rumor. It’s confirmed that the publisher will be announcing new titles this year at E3, so one of them could possibly be a new Darksiders game. However, the provided information should be treated as a rumor for now, especially since Darksiders 3 just launched in November.

Moreover, an image was posted by an employee of the company also revealed a list of games that will apparently be announced at Electronic Entertainment Expo.

The list included surprising names like Destroy All Humans and Darksiders: Genesis. This lead many to believe that the new Darksiders game is on the cards. Of course, it’s all nothing but speculation for now. The title ‘Darksiders Genesis’ could also refer to a major expansion to Darksiders 3.

Although, it’s not the first time we have heard about Darksiders 4. THQ previously said that they will make Darksiders 4 if Darksiders 3 manages to sell well. Given that Darksiders 4 has already sold 71,000 copies on Steam alone, it’s expected that THQ has already started working on another entry in Darksiders series.

As for Darksiders: Genesis, the title suggests that it will be a prequel or a reboot. Further, every entry in the Darksiders franchise has been numbered so far, so Genesis could be a spin-off. Whatever it is, we can do nothing but wait to know about it at THQ’s E3 press conference next month.

Darksiders 3 released a few months back, meaning that it’s very likely that the new Darksiders game will release anytime soon. The new Darksiders game will most likely release on Sony’s PlayStation 4, PC and Microsoft’s Xbox One.

Mehh while D3 wasn’t a terrible terrible game, it got stale after a while, so not sure I have much interest in another one..

It was reported that Darksiders 3 was successful enough to warrant a sequel I would assume and really, all that's left is Strife to have his turn as the 4th Horseman of the series. That said, it has to be Darksiders 4 featuring Strife cause I been waiting a long time to play him.

By the way, Darksiders 3 was my favorite game I enjoy playing and had no issues with the game itself :)

I didn't think it was dead since the last game came out not that long ago.

darksiders is terrible franchise. series literally no one apart from 15 people cares or play.

dont know why they decide to continue it.

A new Destroy All Humans is more interesting then a new Darksiders.

I loved Darksiders 1 and 2, but 3 was very underwhelming.

though, part of that was due to me playing on PS4 and the performance was atrocious
