Breath of the Wild is almost here - are you HYPED?

I'm hyped, SW, but I'm not gonna lie, Nioh is here this week, so I need to get that under wraps before Zelda comes out. Then there's Persona 5 which will pretty much obliterate anything else I'm playing. But yes, my body is ready. Are you ready, SW? Are YOU hyped?

It's all consuming, all obliterating hype at this point

Gotta say I agree, I dont have a Wii U or plans to get a switch and I'm looking forward to other games more for now.

I wouldn't call it hype, but it's one of the games I'm looking forward to the most at the moment. Basically Nioh and BotW are the main games on my radar.

Couldn't care less. Nioh until ME4 and then probably gonna go back to Nioh after i'm tired of ME4.

I have to move house, so all money is gone for a long time, otherwise I'd be there day 1.

It's about as much hype as you can have while still remembering the last 3D game they made was Skyward Sword.

Not really hype since I'm getting it for Switch as my only launch game.

I won't be able to play unless I get a switch or buy a used wiiu idk when I could get a switch

I'm very hyped. I didn't think it would be possible for me to get this hyped for a Zelda game again after Skyward Sword nearly killed my interest in the franchise, but Breath of the Wild looks like it will be the best Zelda game since Ocarina of Time.

If I were picking up the Switch I'd be. It's on my list, but will be gotten in about a year or so when we see the results of whether or not Nintendo's fixed their software droughts.

I'm still waiting for more information. More than the table scraps Nintendo has released that solely build hype. I want to see the meat of the game, not dull overworld exploration.

I'm interested, the trailer and most of the recent footage has me excited. Skyward Sword I was never hyped for in the slightest, and then I fucking hated it, so hopefully this is a nice improvement for the franchise. It'll probably be the last Nintendo game I get for a long while though, as I have 0 interest in the Switch and Wii U is dead after it releases.

Haven't been this hyped about a game since the TP reveal trailer.

Day 1 since forever ago. No other game even remotely comes close.

Definitely. I like the fact that you can cook various dishes with ingredients that you find. It'll be a while before I play it; I want the Switch version, but I don't intend to get a Switch at launch.

Performance differences I'm hearing about.

It does have some slowdown on the Wii U for sure. My understanding however is that the differences are more akin to a game running on PS4 vs PS4 Pro.

I'm pretty excited, I'm normally not much into the 3D Zelda games but this one looks great. I'm not as hyped for it as I am for Mario Odyssey, but it's definitely going to be an exceptional Switch launch title.

I'm a bit apprehensive actually. It's implementing an open world which is a template that in its modern form is hit and miss for me. Anxious but certainly looking forward to playing it. :)

Also, what's with Skyward Sword. I started playing it recently, it started off as one of the worst games I have ever played but now it's amazing.. Does it go shit again or something? I don't know why I started playing it before BOtW... Zelda over load.

A: buying launch consoles is stupid

B: there are no other games worth getting on the switch at launch and only one other one this year

C: the wiiu is terrible and not worth getting

I'm not really a Zelda fan, I haven't finished most of them, but this one looks fun. I'm more hyped for the Switch (and playing it ON my Switch) than I am about the actual game.
