Brink - Lens Of Truth

Well according to a lot of people, including me the PS3 is better. Glad I pre-ordered it for the PS3! :)

Neither game looks especially better from a technical standpoint I don't think. They're just different. I think the art is the bigger draw for this games graphics, not technical prowess.

Nope, but until PSN is back up that's all I can play. Not a huge deal, SP is the same as MP in this game. All my buddies will be playing as well when PSN is back up. I would've gotten it on PS3 no matter what but the fact that I have people to play online with on PS3 helps.

Not sure if a comparison really matters considering the game isn't that great.

Game is a breath of fresh air, loving it.

Thought the game would be average, turns out to be awesome.

Some of my favorite games have scored below AAA and some of the worst games ive ever played in my life as so called AAA games.

The only difference is the contrast and gamma settings theyre using on the shots, its pretty much the same after that. The people that do this must have too much free time.

Brink gave me headache even from first screenshots revealed and I wouldnt play it even for free, but being a cow Im sort of happy that PS3 version wins :)

Judging from the images I assume it's an FPS?I'm asking cause I thought al along that it'd be a TPS with uncharted-like mechanics in a different settings , what 's going on? :?

I don't touch shooters without a demo. I think Bethesda just wanted to make a quick buck and didn't much care about making a quality game.

I gotta be honest....I'm a sucker for customization, and Brink was an impulse buy. DLing it right now on Steam. I'll determine if I like it or not.

Very easy when you've been through many, many mediocre game releases. I simply don't do impulse buys anymore. You can have the prettiest graphics, the coolest looking box, the best ideas, it doesn't matter to me. Unless I get to try it before I buy it, I'm not shelling out 60 bucks.

And the reviews don't look promising.

Fair enough. When there's a demo you'll see how much fun it is then. To each his own. I know people hold reviews in high regard. I do think they are very wrong about this game in this case though. Even though there's quite a bit of good reviews out there, i understand people only focusing on some of the bad ones. This is System Wars afterall.

brink is basically an online game... i feel sorry for whoever gets it for ps3 for the "singleplayer" since the sp is basically online gameplay with botsBangerman15

Meh, I'm only in system wars when there's a topic I'm interested in.

With no demo, and a slew of bad reviews, that's an instant no-go for me. Lends credibility to the bad reviews, since not everyone can find out about the game for themselves without buying it.

I've learned my lesson in trying a brand new IP without a demo.

So a game that exists mainly to be played online, is better on the PS3 version? Is this ironic or coincidental?

Anyways, its really only good with friends. So far its pretty laggy and could use some polish, otherwise with a few buds its a lot of fun.

im no longer an impulse buyer as well when it comes to games, there were some games this year that wasnt worth the full 60

It's now confirmed by B3D that Brink on 360 is sub hd 1120 x 720, and ps3 version is 1280 x 720.
