Now that we've just learned that the PS5 isn't even full RDNA2, it makes me wonder if the system is even powerful enough to run Bugsnax.

Well, Sony's know for faking trailers so downgrades wouldn't be surprising.

I'd rather just not have free games and not have to pay to play Demon's Souls online.....

what? wow now rdna2 = less graphical machine that can't run bugsnax.

I guess not having rdna 2 we will not see another ghost or god of war because with out the rdna 2 it can't play any games. god you xbox fans looks so stupid. like there not another way sony is using to get those achievements.

so with out rdna 2 i guess every game on the series x will look different because it has rdna 2.

so the same game on the series x will be 60 because of rdna 2 and ps5 games will be 30fps because its rdna 1.5.

without rdna 2 ps5 can't play games at all. looks like demon should got canceled because its rdna 1.5.

makes sense to make these games (Bugsnax, destruction allstars) free on PS Plus because we all know these games aren't going to sell well, unfortunately.

The system can't even handle a last gen game such as your yearly asscreed in 4k native. Pretty disappointing to say the least. At this point, when the UE5 becomes available, every game might be hardstuck at 30fps because the system is simply unable to handle the engine at higher fps.

unreal engine is made to get those high end graphics with less gpu power. besides the developers already confirmed it was native 4k so I don't believe these tweets.

the unreal5 demo was not optimized or compressed epic said. a 12 man team came up with the demo in 6 months. now imagine a developer team spending 2 years on the unreal 5 engine.

funny how you think demon souls looks great but then say the ps5 is to weak to have good graphics.

Is that why the demo ran at the lowest resolution i expect a next gen game to run at (1440p) and 30fps?

again that demo was done in 6 months by a team of 12 people that did not optimized or compressed the data. confirmed by epic. it ran without optimizing the data.

now picture a huge developing team spending 2 years optimizing the game running on the engine. epic also rewrote unreal 5 code around the ps5 i/o and the ssd and after it was told the same demo was running at 60 fps.

besides they were using 8k textures so it be less taxing if they went with 4k textures instead.

And it was a demo, it showcases what's possible with the engine, but games won't look as good, and in most cases, miss out on many features. So when an actual game is created for the ps5 using the engine, not only will it be 30fps/1440p, but it will look uglier too.

why do you try to get my blood boiling lol? ps4 had the best looking graphically games and still has better looking ps5 launch games.

because sony uses its own engine like the Decima engine that did hzd1 and 2 and death stranded.

both won digital foundry best technical games of the year.

does not matter what is under the hood if sony first party will get 100% out it and make AAA block busters.

Does Sony ever have anything free for a limited time without having to pay for PS Plus? If not, then none of it is really free. Unlike Steam, Origin, Epic, GOG, Humble and so many other stores.

does xbox? gamepass is not free. the only way to get free games is to be a xbox gold member.

thing is day one with the ps5 you get 21 plus games for free including bugsnaxs. on top of astros playroom. not bad of a deal. there are games on the list i never played.

Meanwhile on PC, Ghostbusters Video Game Remastered & Blair Witch are both "free" over at EGS! And no additional cost to anyone😉
