Bungie caught red handed

Shame on you bungie. Hold off one (or more, who knows!) of the maps to charge for the after release. You really are like Activision now.

The first bit of DLC for a game is often content that for whatever reason was cut from the game at the 11th hour, so this really shouldn't be that big of a shock.

No argument here. Hell, even if it was brand-new content it should be free to make up for the indignity of having to play on Paradiso (sweet Jebus that map is terrible).

Why don't they just make a 50 map pack for $30, with the building tools already finished for the game it wouldn't be that hard.

$10 for 3 maps that I will spend more time playing playing, & enjoying, than most full retail priced games. Sure, it could have been thrown in before release, but Reach gave me more than 3-4 games worth of content & years worth of replayability for the price of one game. Halo is one of those games that I don't mind spending a bit extra for.

Even though Bungie said in their weekly update that "The maps were just finished at midnight yesterday, and there's no way they could have made the game launch."

DLC like this should be illegal.
