Bingo. It's easy being nice to one person and offering him a PR goodie bag. I wonder if Bungie would offer these goodie bags to all the other people who have had say at least 2 RROD's on them.

True, but this is a special case. That 360 he had could not ever be replaced, but Bungie decided to help wrong a right anyway. I don't think this is a PR stunt simply because they responded so quickly. Not to mention, they could have just sent a shirt with a few autographs. But that stuff is worth hundreds of dollars and that helmet would be worth thousands on E-bay!

i was thinking more along the lines of how arrogant they were with complaints when halo 3 first came out.

in one of their updates they addressed issues and some guy pointed out the obvious issue of 'i shoot a guy in the head with a sniper rifle 3 times and it does nothing' bungie implied there was no problem and im pretty sure they insulted the guy while doing it. Alas one week later they admit to the problem, doubt they apologised.

they did it a few times through that update being arrogant towards fans with legit complaints.

I didn't see the hackeysack before, but hackeysack has some significance. If you've seen the limited edition video called "Git ta werk!", then you'll know that one of Bungie's pastime's is to play hackeysack! And, a bunch of that stuff isn't at the Bungie.net store! I looked. I'm going to buy a t-shirt just to show my support!

Of all the devs why is bungie bashed.

People complained about the melee they fix it.

People complain about balance in Halo 2, and all the weapons are more balanced out. Nothing is extremely overpowered

People complained gernades were too weak they made them stronger in Halo 2. They made them weaker a bit because people felt they got to strong.

They consistantly make new map packs.

The PC version never gets an extra chapter to the campaign *cough* epic *cough*

They took a game by the community and made it a game mode in Halo 3 zombies.

They made griffbal and rocket race playlists.

The forge and theatre are entirley built around the community.

They even paid respect to there community by mentioning them in there credits.

People hated the arbiter and guess what Master chief was the only person you play as.

People wanted 4 player coop they got it.

Halo 3 was proper fan service, yes there were dissapointments, but seriousaly give them some slack for once.

It shouldnt be there job to do this anyway, where the heck is Microsoft. jg4xchamp

I was just thinking how much i love bungie cause i was just playng halo3 online for the first time in months( had no interweb at the apt for months) and i was just remembering why this game is so awesome. Halo3 is hands down one of the most fun online ANYTHING.

Bungie is great!

I think it's well known that Bungie is one of the best companies customer wise in the world. Anyone who is anyone should respect them for that. They even speak highly of most other developers and vice versa. I think I've read a few times that as respectability amongst developers go Bungie is at the top or near the top of the list every time.
