So what? Bungie said that they'll be working on other platforms as well as the Xbox 360 for future games. A multiplat game from Bungie wouldn't surprise me at the slightest.

There is still a contract with microsoft and bungie that pretty much says when bungie makes a game microsoft gets first pick, if they don't want it anyone else can pick it up.

espically when bungie is still with MS, they just are not owned by Ms now.The timers don't match but also Bungie can make a game for Sony or Nintendo if they want it is just that Microsoft has first picks on the software that Bungie developes if Microsoft refuses to back it then Sony, Nintendo, or any 3rd Party can pick it up if they want.

I may be wrong, but I think MS only has the right of first refusal for Halo related games.
No it is for anygame because if it Halo Related it can't go anywhere whenever Microsoft granted Bungie their Freedom the two things Bungie had to agree to was
Microsoft gets all rights to the Halo Franchise meaning that Microsoft can do whatever they want with it.
Microsoft gets first dibs on anything Bungie creates (If they refuse it can go to anybody that wants it)
seems like someone needs to go back to the grade where they taught how to keep time. Was it grade 3? or 4? How did you manage to go from almost 40ish hours to under 24 hours?
Sorry if I sounded mean there. I think that it wont be a ps3 game. It'll likely be a game for the 360.
