Because it's made by the only people who would start a countdown timer and them say they're not going to do it, but in reality are. So hilarious. I almost think they should make a comedy game.

For the record, the superintendent on Bungie.net, in the forums, has been saying " KEEP IT CLEAN", "DO NOT PANIC", etc. His name is written llllll (but his status is superintendent and the only green highlighted poster)

I was incorrect. He is not listed as President on any offical things, and many of the wikis run by Bungie loyals didn't list him.

Still believe it is fake for publicity. MS would be insane to force Bungie to can an announcement, especially an announcement that has become public knowledge among the hardcore fans.

And the timer was set to 12 hours from when it "went up", 7PM PST... 12 Hours after 7PM PST is 7 AM PST....original timer was ending at 7AM PST, right....
