That is the worst sweeping generalization I've ever heard. Some fanboys know what they're talking about and can actually hold a credible argument; to plainly say that fanboys make no sense whatsoever is detrimental to how people are naturally. Furthermore, the competitive drive between system loyalists actually expands the wealth of options and provides better overall quality. If competition never existed, we'd still be in the 64-bit era. So, to the Burnout development team, I say NAY!

see your obviously againts this. one problem...... your answer was very good adn your 75% of the responses on a system war are like this "burnoutout development team needs to crawl in a whole a die, cause i knwo for a fact that blah, blah, blah, blah and goes on about something when he hasn't graduated from high school. you have to have a good amount of knowlege to say something like that, which is what there talking about"

at the end of the podcast they say keep posting like that becasue they love it.

 change? should we even bring up how many EA racing games have used the free-roam driving inbetween races thingy? It was cool in NFS: Most Wanted, but seriously, EA, enough.

Basically, the entire game now takes place in one city. In order to start a race, you need to drive to a marker, and drive back there if you fail the event....etc.

Exactly. after multiple Burnout games it was time for a change. I like it a lot and I think once the game comes out and the entire world is opened up, a lot of people will change their minds. If not, it's too bad, the game kicks ass.

You are automatically removed from the category of "Fanboy" if you know what you are talking about and make sense.

I liked the demo very much. I d/l the PS3 demo, I haven't tried the 360 demo yet. I'm not sure whether it's the graphics or open ended world that some people didn't like.

Ok yeah that sounds like a major pain. I don't know if that's enough to ruin the entire game though.

I think it's the open world aspect of the game. People seem to be pissed that there isn't a way that you can jump directly into a race or restart one when you fail. I like the fact that on your way to a race you can get several takedowns and do stunts be fore you hit the starting line. It's sad how much flack the game is getting because it has the smoothest transition from single player to multiplayer and back again that I have EVER seen. It's an amazing achievement that's being overshadowed by all of the complaints.

They didn't say that all fanboys don't know what they are talking about - they said that fanboys tend to blow small things out of proportion to make their system look better than the competition- which is completely true. Often these arguments can be humorous because when all is said and done the systems (PS3 and XBox 360) are just about dead even in terms of power when all of their pros and cons are added up.

In the demo, there are three events.

In the final game, there are 120. And they're all open from the start.

If you really want to get into an event, it shouldn't be that hard.
