Hahahah, that argument has gone down the drain.
300 on Blu Ray is only $17.00, vs. 300 on HD-DVD for $24.99:lol:
Hahaha superior format, for a cheaper price. So what happened to the price advantage of HD-HDVD?

well, i don't know why we can't talk about HD-DVD vs Blu-ray here, (*hint* mods are biased?)
anyway, of course they are related to the video game industry. whichever format wins, it is most likely we'll see which format people will adopt.
lets say a PC gamer wants to build a next PC. and when he sees Blu-ray format is winning, do you think he'll geta Blu-ray drive or HD-DVD drive? and do you think PC game developer will make games on Blu-ray or HD-DVD?
hows that not related to system wars is beyond me.
[QUOTE="Smakkjoo"]THIS IS SYSTEM WARS!!!!!!!!
How convienent, the movie is 300

I don't get why people say this is system wars with dealing blu-ray and hd-dvd. You can have hd-dvd on you 360 and blu-ray in your PS3. And last time I checked those are systems.
Tell Casey that -_-
THIS IS SYSTEM WARS!!!!!!!!
"360's, and PS3's? You'll find plenty of both down there."

And at any time, MS can release a Blu Ray player for the 360, or better yet, a hybrid player...
HD-DVD is inferior.

HD-DVD is inferior because you bought alot of Blu-Ray discs? I don't follow the logic at all.
we all new long time ago blu-ray PWND hd-dvdherozs
yea, agree, and why do you use the same logo as me
"Things become a bit more lopsided as we move into the high-def exclusive features, with only the HD DVD edition (not the Blu-ray) also boasting a picture-in-picture video commentary, plus the exclusive "Vengeance & Valor" interactive game." - HiDef Digest
 The HD-DVD has two versions and extra features. I like Blu-Ray, but TC tried for ownage and owned himself.
One your MSRPs are wrong, and two the HDDVD has more features then the Blu ray version, Iam excited for this release as it using some of the lesser used HD-DVD features.

HD-DVD is definitely inferior on a technical and industry support level both, but yeah....his post doesn't exactly get into that so it just comes across as fanboy crap.
Youre not suppose to checkHeil68
Yeah, I want to see a link also, but I'm seeing $24 at Amazon there. Coincidentally its also less than the HD-DVD version which comes in at $28 or $40 if you are going off of the official prices.
Are you sure the HD-DVD is not a dual combo disc? The Departed and MiamiViceHD-DVDare expensive because one side contains the HD-DVD movie while the other side is the Standard DVD side.PhoebusFlows
It is, but it doesn't matter, nobody in their right mind is paying $35 for a movie, much less $40 like the 300 HD-DVD and DVD combo disc comes in at. Do they think they'll sell more movies by making it so they call play on DVD players while the DVD version which often has more features is half as much?
Thats always been a stupid move as far as I'm concerned.
