If you are going to buy a system today, which will be the better choice? A 360 or a PS3? Well as of right now Xbox has wayyy better games, but the system is 2 years old! Plus, what does Xbox have that a PS3 does not have except games? And...what if you buy a Xbox now then MS announce that they are going to have Xbox 3 is a year or two? Now PS3, the system is great, but it does not have crap to play! Every good game PS3 has got a Xbox has got it also (Even Devil May Cry!!! It used to be Sony ONLY!!!!!!), and sometimes the Xbox version is even better than the PS3 version! And Rockband can have 2 guitars on the Xbox version only, then Unreal might have 2+ player on the Xbox since PS3 only has one (come on how can a death match shooting game be only one player???), and now Frontline being canceled on the PS3??? Just makes me so mad being a PS3 owner! People has been saying that the games for PS3 this year will be really good, but so far what does PS3 got in 2008 except GT and Metal Gear? Just does not seem that strong to be so far... Will it be even stronger? Lately I have been wanting to trade my PS3 for a 360 since they got games like Gears of War, Halo 3, Dead Rising, Frontline, Bioshock, and Masseffect. So will it be smart to trade in my PS3? What is PS3's future in the next year or two? And what is Xbox's? Since PS2 is just a WOW since they still got games comming out till this day! Will a PS3 be like that? Give you guys' opinions!!!
Xbox 360 has the better and bigger lineup of games. Right now it's an obvious choice to get the 360. The PS3 hast to have another price drop by the end of the year and the lineup will be better. That's the time got get a PS3.

id say ps3 because it has a class 2008 and you dont have to worry about it breaking like the 360
Ps3...you can play all of the X360 exclusives on PC, yet you can experience the few that ps3 has now(and later) only on ps3. If you are obsessed with shooters, then 360 is the way you will be force to go since that basically makes up the library.
buy the 360 it is the console with more high rated games (exclusives and multiplats)
it is also the console with most variety....for now
but you cant go wrong with the PS3 either since MGS will be launched in the summer and FF next year

Agreed im a PC owner as well and i did go for a 360 1st but later traded it in for a PS3 after it dawned on me that most of the XBOX games i can get on my PC which i prefer to play on now.
PS3 should get some great games soon but im a little worried for the console to say the least come on the next FF thats mainly all im in for oh and MGS looks good.

That depends on whether you have a good gaming PC or not. If you do, then the PS3 is by far the better choice for games.
I plan on getting the 360 very soon in fact. It has more games and is less expensive. In the future, though, I'll also be picking up a PS3 when the library expands....and it hopefully is less expensive.
Get a 360, i have a 360, Wii and PS3, Wii and PS3 are totally collecting so much dust right now, that i hardly think you need any of them until late 2008 or 2009
X360 for 2006 games PS3 for 2008 games and beyond. Both systems had a good 2007.
Also consider X360 is being outsold all over the world by PS3. PS3 is also less expensive than X360 by the time you pay for the extra add-ons, accessories, and miscellaneous service fees you need to pay when owning an X360. PS3 also has far more features and has proven it's superior graphically with games like Ratchet and Clank, Unreal Tournament, and Uncharted all superior to anything on X360.
edit: I agree with the PC owners above. If you have even a reasonable PC go PS3. Almost all the X360 games end up being on PS3 or PC as well. And usually the games are quite a bit less expensive on PC. For example I bought Bioshock for $29 on PC.
The 360 has the best games(debatable), and the most fun to use. I sold my PS3 when i didn't play it for 3 months straight(got hooked into halo 3). So if you want a good library of games and highly rated titles and an excellent online system, go with the 360 or if you want a good blu-ray player and mgs, go with the PS3. OR if you just like multi-plats and want thwe bwettwer vwersions of thwem, buy thwe 360
