Ok,

I have had a 360 and really liked it before it croaked.

Changed a bit since then.

I do my fpsing on PC . Just got CODMW2 on steam.

RPG's I love. Have dragon age on pc also.

I have a wii (mostly for kids/wife) with about 50 games.

I'm interested in Fable 2 but drake 2 looks amazing.

What is my best option here?

I seem to want more PS3 games but is the online community good? Lots of players for multi, good downloadables, etc??

Online is good enough and it's free. If you have a PC for FPSs there's no real reason to have a 360 since most good exclusive games are FPSs anyway. The PS3 usually doesn't share its games with PC and have more varied quality exclusives. PS3/PC is the best combo IMO.

This is true... most of the 360 games end up on PC... if you're looking for variety the PC and PS3 combo is probably the best idea...

The first question you should ask yourself is, which console do your friends have (if they have a console that is). If your friends don't have consoles then strictly judging by your 2 games mentioned PS3 but would recommend you check out the exclusive libraries of both.

PS3 it is. My friends and I use steam but they all have 360s. I'm not buying same game for 2 systems haha

I got tired of my xbox 360 breaking..that and the community on xbox live was :|

I sold mine as soon as I found out Mass Effect 2 was coming to PC at the same time. The only reason I was holding on to it was just incase the game never got released for PC.

I really don't use my PS3 for anything other than movies tbh...the last game I played on it was MGS4. I guess if you need a bluray player and something to play some games you could go with the PS3. Xbox 360 isn't bad either, it just didn't match up to what I was use to while playing PC.

Xbox 360 is pretty good for playing with real life friends because almost everyone has one...I think that was the only thing I liked about it more than PC gaming....But then again you still have to play with the rest of Xbox live, lol.
