Personally, I think there is no clear winner yet, and there are plenty of great exclusives for all platforms, so regardless of what platform(s) you game on, 2010 is your year. That's why I feel it's the year of the Gamer!

Just fixing some misconceptions in your post.

Although I am very pleased with the PS3's line up, all the other platforms have great games being released as well. It's too hard to narrow it down to one specific console owning the year, so I'm just going with "Gamer"

PS3- God Of War III, Heavy Rain, Agent, MAG, The Last Guardian, & The Agency. Mediocre Excitement For Yakuza 3.

Xbox360-Mass Effect 2,Splinter Cell Conviction,Metro 2033,Alan Wake,Halo Reach, & Most PS3/360 Multiplats. Mediocre Excitement For Crackdown 2.

PC- Stalker Call Of Pripyat, StarCraft II, Napolean Total War, Battlefield 3, Secret Files 2, Star Trek Online, Machinarium, RUSE, Supreme Commander 2, Command & Conqueor 4 Tiberian Twilight, Dawn Of Fantasy, Black Mirror 2, & others.

Judging by the latest trailer RDR will be the overlooked graphics king of the year, it looks better than Call of Juarez which is one of the best looking games that nobody remembers, and it has no texture pop, less motion blur and it's fully free roaming. Unfortunately everyone will be too busy arguing over Alan Wake, Halo Reach, Heavy Rain and GT5's graphics too care.

Actually you are correct, I worded that badly ... what I should have said was, that if you only have one system and you thereby need to justify to yourself your choice in your purchase by disparaging all other systems, then you are a corporate shill (i.e. fanboy) and cannot see that games that aren't on your system can still be great. So therefore your opinion is biased and of no value.

My view is that preferences are to be expected, but it's irrational to ignoreor bash great games that aren't on your system of choice. I can accept the fact that some of the games I dislike are still great games (Call of Duty and Legend of Zelda, for example) and I can also acknowledge the flaws of games that I love because every game has flaws. It's sad that so many people think otherwise.

Its the year of "I own 360, PSP, Wii, DS so i can play pretty much everything"so i'vecovered for all the great games coming out next year and catching up on games which i've missed in last year and half.

Sadly the PS3 wont make it into my club of Consoles as theres little to nothing of intrest on it. Sadly PS3 only owners will be mad at this comment but its a fact that it isnt really shining in any department more than any other console.
