I played COD5 and it seems like Call of Duty 4.1. No real improvements.

But I wanna know if you prefer Resistance 2 or Call of Duty 5. I might trade Call of Duty5 for Resistance.

Also does Resistance 2 have large multiplayer maps? How large(call of duty large or battlefield large)?

Is the gameplay better or the same as Resistance 1? Since I'm not a big fan of run and shoot. I prefer think, move and shoot(ala battlefield PC not console).

I love R2 and haven't played (and probably won't) CoD: WaW so I can't judge fairly. The thing I don't like is Treyarch took the framework (engine, game design, and franchise) and made a game that plays pretty well. It's not original and they're prestige (pun intended) isn't justified in my eyes.

Well I haven't played either games, but Resistance 2 looks a lot better than COD: World at war.

The maps range from small-medium-large. Not familiar with Battlefield, but they're pretty big and perfect for 30 v 30. The game modes are awesome and it plays to it's advantages...well balanced. It's definitely better than R1, with deeper customizations, leveling, unlocks and stat tracking. The most important part is it's fun as hell. Plus its slower-paced which is perfect.

The thing I love most is the presentation and the party system, lobby system, clan support (every game should have it). It's so streamlined and cool. Matchmaking could use some work, but it's good.

You know, I'd go out and say it anyway: R2 is a much better game than WaW lol.

I used to have the same argument all the time. It seems to me that the COD series breaks off with subtitles and then resumes again where the last numerical title left off. IMO it isn't Call of Duty 5 until Infinity Ward makes it so...

Yeah, I guess this is the interchanging trend Activision wants to pursue. But you know WaW was the first CoD with a sub-title. 3 was made by Treyarch.

Wait, what about The Big Red One? Wasn't that a COD game?

I haven't played WaW, but I have played CoD4. And R2 wins out over CoD4 any day of the week.

R2. Easy.

Although that's maybe cause i suck at COD:WaW, despite being good at COD4. I mean they're the same damn game, but different paintm yet i suck at the new one.

Gears > them both though. If they fix the horrible, horrible horrible lag and matchmaking.
