Call of Duty: Black Ops. Are you hyped?

Don't lie. As much as the Call of Duty franchise is being milked, you gotta admit the games aren't to bad. I haven't bought Modern Warfare 2 yet since I haven't finished the original. But, I can't say I'm hyped for it. I haven't played a Call of Duty game for about 6 months, and I'm just disinterested in it. I'm having too much fun with Battlefield: Bad Company 2 to care about Call of Duty.

If Black Ops has a decent single player campaign, I'll consider it for a rent.

Why on earth would I want to purchase a game which effectively only has 6 hours more original content than its predecessor?

No, I don't like Treyarch developed games.

Even after MW2 left such a bad taste in my mouth... I will stay optimistic about this game. Why? Simply because I loved WaW so if this comes out to being even remotely similar, I will buy it day one.

Since the game has done nothing new in the past 3-4 years I'll pass on this one.

No. I think I'm pretty much done with COD series.

Of course I am hyped for it. It's the same great formula with new maps massive online community and will give me tons of fun 'til the next november when the new COD game comes out.

With the exception of Halo Reach they will be the only games I buy this year cause I know I enjoy them.

I would not say I am hyped, but I'll be keeping an eye on it. I have not seen enough to really get hyped.

I'm keeping my eye on it. I don't say that I'm really hyped, but Treyarch showed with World at War that they are better COD-developer than Infinity Ward. WaW is a better game than MW2 and on par with MW.

Ill stick with COD4.

Since it's Treyarch, I'll be keeping an eye on it.

I only bought MW2 to get my FPS online fix, got it in less than 3 weeks. Hated the campaign.

It is most likely going to have zombies of all sorts: russian zombies, vietcong zombies, any kind of zombie you can unload your MG at! I will get it just for that purpose.

Why in the world do you people keep buying this trash year after year. Ill admit that I loved CoD 2 and MW 1, but CoD 3 and MW 2 were complete and utter trash and WaW was passable but nothing great. Where is there hope for CoD:BO? Treyarch's entries into the CoD series have been below average and now you suddenly feel that they can be the one to rejuvinate this series? Until someone decides to get back to basics so to speak with CoD and get rid of the stupid perks, overpowered Killstreaks and guns with ZERO recoil, you can count me out!!
