Call of Duty: Ghosts Teaser Trailer Goes Live, Next Xbox Exclusivity Anticipated

Activision will reveal this game on May 21, which is when the next Xbox is being revealed as well. This almost certainly implies that there will be some form of exclusivity for the next Xbox; maybe it will be a timed exclusive, maybe it will get the 'best' version, maybe it will get exclusive content or timed exclusive DLC.

Anyway, what do you all think?

This is an interesting concept in theory, in practice however is a different story with COD games. Also i feel like Ghost Recon Future Soldier has been bitten

Teaser trailer was utter sh!t. 

Every casual FPS fan in the world is gonna want it for 720 if its timed exclusive. No one is gonna want to wait a month for the inferior PS4 version especially when they know all their friends are getting it. MS has smart businessmen. Sony has chimps working for them. Lost money 7 years in a row. Nearly bankrupt.

N4G has articles saying Gamestop are taking preorders with a PS3 version, 360 and next gen consoles confirmed. Rumours it'll be on WiiU too. Timed exclusivity looks possible, complete exclusivity unrealistic. Personally i'd guess it's just MS hyping multiplats again, a massive section of their last E3 was multiplats too, maybe some timed maps as usual.

It is no way CoD will be exclusive, they will milk the shit out of it like always. Few exclusive DLC(timed?) will change nothing:P

Doesn't matter what happens. This game will sell more on Xbox if it is exclusive or not. COD has always been associated with Xbox and has always sold more on Xbox as well.

I don't know if that really means that much. I mean Ghosts probably is multiplat and this is just MS beating the best-on-Xbox/timed-exclusive map packs drum, but Gamestop will take pre-orders on pretty much anything they think they can -- it doesn't cost them anything, and if someone forgets they dropped $5 on a Wii U version it's free money.

Hold on, why is everyone talking about it being a 720 exclusive or timed exclusive?  I'm pretty sure I remember the previous games also being first shown during M$ events.

Doesn't Xbox already have timed exclusivity on CoD DLCs? Game will still be multiplat, but I imagine it will be a similar agreement
