How can you even begin to make a comparison of the two? Heavy Rain is a quick-time driven adventure game that prides itself on a deep plot and character development. Call of Duty is an FPS where you start from point A and make it to point B alive, whilst tackling a multitude of objectives in between. Ergo, both games are completely different in nearly every conceivable way!

next, how bout you compare rome total war and super mario ferret-gamer

That's like comparing peanut butter to lasagna . They're both completely different games . Do you expect people to actually say "call of duty FTW !! HAHAHAH!!11!11oneone"

Each game is special in their own way . In CoD , you can appreciate 360 drop no-scopes , quickscoping and don't forget the impossible throwing-a-throwing-knife-halfway-across-the-map-and-hitting-a-person-in-the-head-and-getting-a-headshot kill . In Heavy Rain , you can have "real ACTUAL fighting" like fisticuffs , drinking water or juice and helping them take a shower ! I mean , who can not appreciate having help from someone in a shower while being completely "nude" in front of them . Come on !

I'm just saying , comparing Call of Duty to Heavy rain is like comparing peanut butter to lasagna . Call of Duty being the peanut butter while Heavy Rain being the lasagna .

But I personally like lasagna . Its filled with all kinds of variety of stuff in it . Its finally something different for a change instead of just peanut butter ..

Please be a joke thread. You don't go around shooting people every ten seconds and you don't customize guns or anything because it's not a shooter, even if it has guns. Having guns does not make a shooter, and anybody getting Heavy Rain expecting a COD-like experience would be disappointing. And you stated an opinion. Sure, many other people probably like MW2 better but there's also people who enjoy Heavy Rain more, especially when they're looking for something different than an online focuses, noob-friendly game with a short single player campaign featuring an utterly stupid story.

HEavy rain is a dumbed down version of CoD for people who can't aim. except for Heavy Rain doesnt have MP, spec ops, Killstreaks, customizeable classes and weapons, etc etc People suck and die, so in heavy rain, even if the characters die. Why would people buy a BAD imitator when they can buy the real thing. Its worse than buying Dante's Inferno on the PS3... why wouldnt they just buy God of War?
