Think again. XBLAÂ destroys anything on PSN. Oh and TeamXbox gave FX pinball a 8.5 so we should use that score instead of the one GS gave it right?

To be fair , it is a multiplayer centric game to be played with buddies at home or online at its core. The single player just seemed thrown in there so you can practice.Â

It is from the song Hey Hey My My by Neil Young, who was a big influence on Cobain. So show some respect and fix your sig. Neil Young ftw! As for calling all cars, I think the score is probably pretty fair given it's limited scope.

To be fair , it is a multiplayer centric game to be played with buddies at home or online at its core. The single player just seemed thrown in there so you can practice.Still you have to admit that despite the US$10 price tag there still just isn't enough content. Mabe if they release new maps later the game will be worth it (assuming you don't have to pay extra), I also think having the different vehicles handling differently would help make the game more appealing.[QUOTE="dennis_phong"]http://www.gamespot.com/ps3/action/callingallcars/review.html

Maybe that's why it was never marketed as a single player game? HMM? There's a whole nother side to the game, multiplayer, and you surely won't be done with it in 20 minutes.Â
If any of your opponents hit or attack you, you'll lose the prisoner and your opponents will hit and attack you constantly. ...most matches quickly deteriorate into a melee of cars bumping and smashing into one another while the poor prisoner trades hands like a hot potato. You'll very rarely have control of the prisoner for more than two or three seconds at a time, and more often than not, scoring is a matter of luck rather than skill.

When did cows hype a cheap download AAA? I can understand AA or AÂ but definitely not AAA. I think you're thinking of Warhawk. As for this game, I was thinking it would do just as good here as it did at IGN but I guess that Greg(the person who reviewed it) doesn't like download games like this.
Warhawk is next. Multiplayer-Only?
David Jaffe needs to get back to working on Heartland instead of this half-***** flops.

Where do you see IGN saying this game is better than anything on xbla. Fanboys why do they exist.
Teh Bias!
Seriously, they really underscored this one.
agentfred
But you haven't played it... How would you know it has been underscored? Were you in the beta?
Â
The problem seems to be content. 3 maps is too few, and such a short, forgettable single player is only forgivable if the multiplayer is peerless... which according to GS, it isn't.Â

According to metacritic, (GR doesn't seem to have calling all cars listed), gamespot has given the lowest rating of anyone.

WHOA! BIAS GAMESPOT!!!!!!111!! IN THREE REVIEWS, GAMESPOT GAVE IT THE WORST ONE!!!!1!!
Â
Ignore, of course, that Gamespot is the 2nd closest to the median (3 points off) and 2nd closest to the average (7 points off). The other score is a 70.
Â
Sure, let's go for the single highest review, which happens to be way off the mark of the other two, and is 5 times farther away from the median and almost twice as far from the averag. Yes, gamespot is the one in the wrong.

It's a mini-game,no one expected it to score AAA,AA,or even A. We don't consider mini-games as true games, unlike the competition,we stick to epic and revolutionary titles.Dualshockin
Â
Funny, short games and minigames tend to score up to AA in certain other consoles, one of which also happens to have more "epic and revolutionary" titles.
And in any case, $10 for a "minigame"? Isn't that quite expensive?Â

I was going more along the lines of, say, VC instead of full-fledged games. Still WarioWare delivers much more content than what CaC seems to for the price*.
Casual, quick games will not fully reshape the industry, but they're changing it, and one might think for the best. It's all about options, and I can tell you I've had a lot of fun with these small games. You should give these games more consideration, you'll be pleasantly surprised. The problem seems to be that CaC simply doesn't offer enough content to be on par with other "minigames" and downloadable pay titles out there - and from the sound of all three reviews, this is true.
Â
* EDIT. That was smart of me, saying a $50 game had more content than a $10 one. Oh yes, I'm a genious *sigh*Â

I don't find the comparison ironic. I think the big problem with your argument is that both "sides" are neither at war with each other, or that the increase in the amount of one will necessarily lead to the reduction of the amount of the other.Â
What I do see is that casual games tend to bring new customers into the market. Who do you think the Wii is selling to? Hardcore gamers? Although they certainly are a piece of the equation, the Wii has brought more people into gaming (or back into gaming) than the 360 or PS3 have.
Is this a bad thing? only raving minorities think so. The more people, the easier it is for companies to fill a niche - and these niches are the ones that allow publishers to bet on other games.Â
