Think again. XBLA destroys anything on PSN. Oh and TeamXbox gave FX pinball a 8.5 so we should use that score instead of the one GS gave it right?

Maybe that's why it was never marketed as a single player game? HMM? There's a whole nother side to the game, multiplayer, and you surely won't be done with it in 20 minutes. 

If any of your opponents hit or attack you, you'll lose the prisoner and your opponents will hit and attack you constantly. ...most matches quickly deteriorate into a melee of cars bumping and smashing into one another while the poor prisoner trades hands like a hot potato. You'll very rarely have control of the prisoner for more than two or three seconds at a time, and more often than not, scoring is a matter of luck rather than skill.

The problem seems to be content. 3 maps is too few, and such a short, forgettable single player is only forgivable if the multiplayer is peerless... which according to GS, it isn't.

Ignore, of course, that Gamespot is the 2nd closest to the median (3 points off) and 2nd closest to the average (7 points off). The other score is a 70.

Sure, let's go for the single highest review, which happens to be way off the mark of the other two, and is 5 times farther away from the median and almost twice as far from the averag. Yes, gamespot is the one in the wrong.

Casual, quick games will not fully reshape the industry, but they're changing it, and one might think for the best. It's all about options, and I can tell you I've had a lot of fun with these small games. You should give these games more consideration, you'll be pleasantly surprised. The problem seems to be that CaC simply doesn't offer enough content to be on par with other "minigames" and downloadable pay titles out there - and from the sound of all three reviews, this is true.

"For the price" ?Don't you find it ironic that a $50 retail mini-game is being compared to a $10 downloadable one? I honestly can't see how casual games will change the industry for the best,look at games such as LOZ:OOT,God Of War,then look at games such as WarioWare,Cooking Mama(Fully-fledged minigames).Which do you want more of?Dualshockin

I don't find the comparison ironic. I think the big problem with your argument is that both "sides" are neither at war with each other, or that the increase in the amount of one will necessarily lead to the reduction of the amount of the other. 

What I do see is that casual games tend to bring new customers into the market. Who do you think the Wii is selling to? Hardcore gamers? Although they certainly are a piece of the equation, the Wii has brought more people into gaming (or back into gaming) than the 360 or PS3 have.

Is this a bad thing? only raving minorities think so. The more people, the easier it is for companies to fill a niche - and these niches are the ones that allow publishers to bet on other games.
