Story was pretty nice, though as said above, it turned way too much into pure GUILT operations way too fast. Otherwise, it was was, challengeing, and kick ass. It also had a very unique and nice layout, along with more than enough missions.
Though having never played a Trauma Center game, I find the concept of the game unique with plenty of fast-paced precision action which would be hard to emulate using analog.
Not to defend him or anything, but he never said anything about his opinion being the right one, he only said he didnt like the game and is asking why people like it.
Anyway on topic, I guess the game is pretty challenging, and I like challenge, but it is to a point that might turn many people off from playing it, and because of its presentation, its easy to see why people might not like the game. I enjoy the game though, its pretty fun and I like the gameplay.

I had fun. :| Mostly I hope thats what I recieve from video games. Well it was fun, it had a nice story, great characters, and the gameplay was certainly something different.

EHHHHH, wrong answer. Those 2 may eaasly trump final fantasy but both aint go nothing on mother (Earthbound) series.

Kingdom Hearts remains the worst Square related series ever, even worse than Saga. And that is saying something.
Trauma center is great because it's so out there. It is a video game, with intense bad guys and even boss stages. It gets crazy when you're cutting this poor patient up, pumping him full of that stuff that helps vitals (adding time to the clock), sewing up the big cuts and trying to figure out how to kill that weird ass disease. It's really fun I think

Because it is extremely challenging. I find it better on the DS though because there is easier control with the stylus. Still a very cool series, kinda like the old game Operation just if you use the wrong tools to help a patient, it causes problems.

Eh, I found each controls had their ups and downs. scaupling and lasering were surely better on ds but draining and syeringing I found harder on ds. Either way, both of them had presise enough controls to make proffesional playing work right.
Well I liked Trauma Center because I always wanted a game that takes practice and actually pays off. It's just an opinion but when I got to an operation and failed over and over, there was something about the game that made me want to keep trying and it was damn satisfying to actually get it right. Maybe it's because it was a cool game that struck a balance between puzzle, action game, and highscorer. It just happens to all be presented with a medical theme.
The story was decent for me. Was told in a way that made it possible but it was a fantasy at the core. The love story was really really cliche but we all knew it was gonna hapen. But what kicked ass for me was the gameplay. I think another element that made Trauma Center fun was that you could impress yourself with your speed and then look back and be amazed by how accurate you were at the same time.
I liked it because it was unique.It is one of the few games so far to use the Wiimote in a truely innovative way that couldn't have done with a normal controller. It was challenging. It was fun, with a great mix of action and puzzle elements. Also, it has lots of replay value for people who want to get better scores, and beat the game on amore challenging setting. My main complaint about the game was that it was too short, which will hopefully be addressed with the sequel.
But even though I loved it (and it was my favorite 3rd party game that I've played), it's still easy to see what some people might not like about it...
