TP imo is definitely one of many GC titles that do. So TP. GoW 2 isn't even my favorite game in terms of graphical quality for the PS2..... Tho the game looks very good.
You are comparing a game that came in the end of a consoled lifespan to a console that JUST came out. Wow. I'd like to see you comparing PS2 games with Wii games at the end of its lifespan!
TP's graphics are better than GoW2, no contest.  TP has more detailed textures and environments, and also has a free-roaming camera.  With the fixed camera in GoW they can make it look better than most PS2 games since they only have to render what is on screen.  TP has to have everything in every direction ready at the same time since the player can swivel the camera wherever they like.  AND TP has no loading screens.
