Can anyone really deny that PC is the best gaming platform?

So now that I have a master gaming PC, PS3, 360, Wii, PSVita, 3DS, PSP and DS, along with all of the best games, I can safely say that the PC is by far the best platform.

First of all, Blizzard is the best developer in the world. Having the best developer in the world develop games exclusively for the PC is a huge benefit for PC gamers. Considering the Xbox 360 promotes itself as a cheap PC alternative and doesn't even have Blizzard games is pretty funny. Blizzard games wouldn't even be playable without a keyboard and mouse anyways. You won't be playing WoW, Diablo 3 or StarCraft 2 with a controller.

Then you have all the definitive multiplats. After rebuying Skyrim, Battlefield 3, Kingdoms of Amalur Reckoning, Crysis 2 and Mass Effect 3 on PC, it's extremely apparent. It's pretty funny watching people argue about which version is better between the PS3 and 360 versions, because they both look the same, which isn't anything compared to the PC versions. Things like V-Sync, 1920x1080 resolutions, anti-aliasing, 60 fps, PhysX and tessellation really do add up.

Having the option between controller and KB/M is the best. I've always thought that KB/M is the best controller, because it is the most intuitive and advanced. Plus, being able to type while in games just makes multiplayer experiences way better. On consoles, not everyone has a headset, but at least with PC, you can communicate whether people have headsets or not. Plus, having 100 different buttons is a huge plus for certain games.

Then you have mods, the largest library of games, strategy games, Blizzard games, RTS games, MMO games, the best FPS games, the list goes on and on.

Sure, I'll always hold onto my 360 for Halo, Gears and Forza. I'll always hold onto my PS3 for Uncharted, Killzone, Resistance, Gran Turismo, Twisted Metal, Starhawk, Valkyria Chronicles, Demon's Souls, God of War, Last of Us, LittleBigPlanet, Heavy Rain, Beyond, Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots and others. I'll always hold onto my Wii for all the great games like Mario Galaxy, New Super Mario Bros. Wii, Sin and Punishment, Mario Kart Wii, Smash Bros Brawl, Donkey Kong Country Returns, Kirby, Xenoblade Chronicles, Paper Mario, Punch Out, Pikmin 2, Muramasa, Metroid Prime 3, Skyward Sword etc. etc. I'll always hold onto my 3DS for Kid Icarus, Resident Evil Revelations, Super Mario 3D Land, Mario Kart 7, Star Fox 64 3D, Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time 3D etc.. And of course I'll hold on to DS and PSP for games like Pokemon and Dissidia.... I'm even really enjoying my PSVita, I already have 6 games for it, Unit 13 (which is great and the last Zipper Interactive game), WipEout 2048, Hot Shots Golf: World Invitational, Uncharted: Golden Abyss, Mortal Kombat and Gravity Rush, all of which are exclusive except for Mortal Kombat.

But overall, Blizzard games > all those games. When it comes to pure fun, nothing beats Blizzard games. The definitive versions of all multiplats don't hurt either, but consoles and handhelds generally can't hold my attention for very long. PC games on the other hand can captivate me for entire days, weeks, months, years. With consoles, I can get captivated for about 1 hour and then I need to turn it off.

Best is entirely subjective. *shrugs*

They are releasing games like Witcher 2 as console exclusives, and the definitive version is on PC.

95% of the 360 software library is on PC and much better on PC in terms of graphics and controls.

The 360 doesn't even have Blizzard games.

While systems like the PS3 and Wii have endless amounts of great exclusives, the 360 is basically a substitute for a PC, and a very poor substitute at that.

I stop reading at "blizzard is the best devloper in the world. Wrong. All credibilty gone. Blizzard games suck. The PC may be best on paper I'll give you that, but its certiably not best for ME.

It objectively has the most games and the most high scoring games. It doesn't really have much that makes me feel like I'm missing out though.I can agree with it being the best but I don't really care about being the best, I care about my enjoyment and I don't really see a necessity in a monster PC for that.

Get a clue dude, 95% of the 360's library isn't on the PC. If that were true, the same could be said of the PS3 since the "HD" twins are virtually neck and neck in terms of exclusives.

I can deny it. I don't care about PC exclusives like Arma, Shogun, Civilization, Wow, etc. Upgrading is a pricy pain in the arse. Not as good to play on a couch even if you can connect it to the TV. Not great for multiplayers when friends are on your house and so on.

PC gaming is not as superior as hermits says.

"Best" is entirely subjective.

For me personally it doesn't have the best lineup of exclusives. I think the PS3 does with games like GOW3, Uncharted, heavy Rain, Infamous and console exclusives like Vanquish. There are no real substitutes (at least not exclusives) for those games on PC. Sadly PC games are mostly either multiplayer focused, or single player games where you grind and grind. I prefer action (+RPG/Adventure) with a story that have about ten hours of varied, fun and visually appealing gameplay. Unfortunately this is not a form of gaming PC can support on its own. That said I buy every multiplat I can on PC (like Max Payne, Alan Wake, Assassin's Creed and so on). Overall for me PC is not the best gaming platform.

Laughable stuff, PC is full of garbage MMOs, strategy games that play the same after 15 years and some games not even a soul has ever heard about

To be honest, I'm not concerned if the PC is best or not. I like the capabilities of the platform. But, I'm not interested in comparing it to other platforms because regardless if the PC is best or not, other platforms will have games that's not on the PC. If I like those games enough, I'll end up gaming in other platforms anyway.

PC is garbage, all its games i want are on xbox 360

And consoles have like 50+ top AAA exlusives that PC does not

So, PC is hands down the worst system with the most terrible game line up ever, there is not a single game i want from PC that is not on consoles, which is rather pathetic
