I mean..if Factor 5 were to release a patch that lets you play with the normal controls instead of the Motion sensor controls..would that save the game????

Even if they did that, it is still Rogue Squadron with Dragons. The game is a dud, very average at best, and that's that.

"And that's that", like "I'm saying this and its final." Whatever, dude. I bet you haven't even played the game.
While I do think Factor 5 was weak on certain aspects of this game, such as tying the big elephant-like animal's legs like in the Empire Strikes Back. But this game, IMO, will be a fun one to check out.
You see, I, like many gamers, rent my games. It takes a very re-playable game for me to buy it. That means I wouldn't buy MP3, Bioshock, or Heavewnly Sword. I don't play games multiple times for extra points or whatever. I find that dull. There's too many games out there to sit and play one over and over. And I think most gamers are of the same mind.
So, say what you will about this game. That it flopped in "System Wars", which almost no one in the real world pays attention to. It has been a top selling and top rented game since its release. "And that's that!"

its flopped everywhere else also, deal with it. its also on the top selling and renting list because all you cows hyping it AA or AAA preordered it at gamestop, gamefly and what have you, and then the game ended up sucking nuts, but they were stuck with it anyway. accidental sales, i call it.

Just because a game sells a lot doesn't mean it's good. For example, 50 cent:BulletproofIF lair came with a patch that gave analoge controls or fixed the Sixis controls. And helped the frame rate issues. I'd buy it. Till then I'm gonna rent it soon.
1up.com has EGM podcast or whatever it is called and it has Factor 5 president or something and EGM reviewers debating about the score.
I found it very interesting and Factor 5 president does bring up large number of good points to justify that this game isn't a terrible game. It is worth listening to it.
I found it rather convincing. When Lair becomes budget price I'll probably get it to check it out.
BTW, I don't rent games because I can't say goodbye to any games I've played even if they suck. Even bad games are good to own because they bring back memories and you can laugh at them by playing them after many years.
