Sure. I think it needs to be 300 bucks to get into the majority of homes, but the majority of homes won't own any console for two more years.

Wether or not it is less, more or as powerful as the 360 is debatable and will be for the entire gen. They both have their share of high profile exclusives and will both see a large library of games.

However, if they were priced similarly, within 100 USD of each other by the end of next year, the PS3 would win solely on consumer loyalty and free online. If BDs take off, thats another edge to the PS3. Despite what people around these boards think, it's the 360 that has the up hill battle ( a battle it's currently winning, but I digress.) The PS3 just has to keep from sliding to far.

It should be interesting. Multiconsole owners will win no matter what tho.

I think it has alot of potential which we will yet to see for a couple of years.

PS3 hasn't even been released world-wide so counting PS3 out of the console war is pretty fan-boyish, I think Sony are going to really blow everyone away this E3 and prove that PS3 is every bit a $600 machine.

Just look at the PS1 & 2, as you can see buying a PS3 isn't risky at all considering Sony's past success you know your going to be in one hell of a ride with PS3

The PS3 will probably sell more units than the Wii and Xbox 360 by the end of the generation. It is selling slow right now but once it gets launched in Europe and other countries it'll have a great chance to win this war.Calvin200669
