Can Someone Remind me how 360's E3 show wasnt by far the worst?

I havent been posting here for a week, so apoligies if this is 'old'. But the air of superiority by 360 owners around here has been pathetic since E3.

your E3 show was so lame that it consisted of demoing 2 great MULTIPLAT games (F3 and RE5), and announcing you have FF13, which is being developed for ps3. No mention of any new notable games in the future. You embarassingly ripped off the Singstar and Mii ideas. GeOW2 looked amazing, but everybody already knew that. Fable 2 underwhelmed everybody, also as expected. So really, what is all this superiority about? FF13 is still on PS3.

Meanwhile Sony showed 4 exclusives for the wall, introduced GOW3 and MAG. And also showed KZ2 and InFamous, both great looking games for early 2009.

At the end of the day, we buy these consoles for games, and buy perticular consoles for the exclusives. and for that M$ failed

Because Nintendo's was so much worse, but yea out of the two actual consoles Microsofts was the worst.

Go to IGN and read the E3 "post mortem" or whatever they called it. It contains everything you need to know about why 360 won.

My opinion? Having game demo's done by the game's developer and giving release dates is better than saying "We are gonna make GOW3 and MAG one day", which is basically all Sony did. And like we didn't know there would be a GOW3 one day.

Also, Resistance 2 demo looked terrible.

Lastly, MS showed Casual stuff, arcade games, and hardcore games (in fact, the first 30 minutes on the show was just hardcore game demos. The sales stuff was just 5 minutes), & had BOTH music games developers on stage telling their song lineups and such.

Microsoft showed 4 exclusives also. Sony had a PS2 segment. The way software is selling on the PS3, they show a PS2 segment? Instant fail.

MS showed way more than 2 exclusives. Some were casual games, some were arcade games, some were hardcore, and some were multiplats with exclusive content or time exclusivity.

remember M$ announce stuff that comes out within the a year. sony likes to hype the distant future. (home, KZ2, FF13, ect... last years E3) So surprises would be few for M$.

Nintendo not talking about any core games is a slap in the face to people like us! When they talk numbers why dont the mention tickle me elmo extreme numbers too? Thats there apparent customer base.

I would also add that after E3, it seems like way more people in the gaming media are talking about Little Big PLanet than any other game that was shown...including Gears.

Here's how it failed. KZ2 isn't fun. Look good, but isn't fun and doesn't do anything special. R2 is good, but not as good as GeOW2.

360 talks about things that are happening now and in the near future. NOT what is going to happen 2 to 3 or 4 years down the road.

I didnt find ANY of them that great.

If nintendo wasn't the biggest spectacle and supplied so much embarrassing footage, MS would be considered pretty embarrasing. MS with that Eyetoy was like watching your uncle that can't dance, dance. Nintendo was like your DRUNK uncle that can't dance, dance.

MS was pretty weak. They had a Mii's, You're in the Eyetoy, some you dont know jack gameshow thing, and a singstar 360! However, all that apparently gets erased with the bombshell of FF13, and THAT IS A BOMBSHELL!

While nintendo actually had legimate surprises, the delivery was comical. Would it kill them to mention a few games to cater to the hardcore N fans?

Meanwhile, Sony drags out LPB AGAIN and does this presentation. Just another reminder of 'just wait'. And wow, discounted games is BIG news now?

These things just soley cater to the investors, and as it should because its a busniess conference. But I all 3 sucked.
