Can this game change what you think about the Wii U (Graphics , Nintendo approach, go and buy a Wii U)?.

My Wii U purchace was justified when Pikmin 3 was confirmed for it. Therefore, it was justified before I bought it. All the amazing looking games that Nintendo just announced in adition to the amazing games they already announced is just plain overkill.
Can this game change what you think about the Wii U (Graphics , Nintendo approach, go and buy a Wii U)?.

Nah, I wasn't shallow enough to dismiss the Wii U for those reasons.
With that said this game doesn't make me want a Wii U. I'm getting a 3DS first, and if for some reason I'm not completely satisfied with gaming between my PC and 3DS then the Wii U is my next purchase.
It looks better, the graphics kind of reminds me of Dragons Dogma (with mechs) but better looking. It really depends on whether this game will be native HD and have a smooth framerate, something most open world games on 360/PS3 didn't do well.It doesn't look beyond PS3 or 360. It does however look so awesome

It could definitely get the Wii U some serious attention for once, but it's just one game, after it people will go back to how they acted before :P
HOWEVER, that Nintendo is bringing this up front and center bodes very well for future content on the console. Xenoblade almost never made it over, and now the sequel looks to be a big title to them. Xenoblade was an amazing game, if Nintendo keeps channeling resources to them and helping them expand, Monolith Soft could definitely become one of Nintendo's key developers.
Looks great for an open world game, so yes it has changed my expectations for Wii U graphics though I still don't expect a huge leap. Monolith Soft are tech gods. They made Xenoblade on Wii, and while the character models were poor, the scale, framerate, and almost zero load times at all are technically dumbfounding for the hardware.
I can sort've see the Bethesda influence. They said they wanted to make a huge world in a JRPG like Bethesda did in a WRPG.
They said they wanted to surpass them in scope.

The video made me sad for what Xenoblade could have looked like if Nintendo gave the Wii a bit more oomph when designing it :(
That looks so good that makes me believe that's not a WiiU game.... I mean, if that was the in-game footage, surely that would be amazing, but judging for WiiU specs I still think that the actual game won't look as good as the trailer
I remember playing Xenoblade, the game was so good but I couldn't finished it because the graphic is really bad, I played Xenoblade right after I played Uncharted and RDR, and that makes me can not continue Xenoblade
And also, as good as WiiU graphic it makes me think if WiiU with crappy specs can delivered awesome graphic than how about PS4?
One thing I hate about Nintendo this-gen and last-gen is they can not compete in graphics, that's just too lazy Nintendo....so why should I support lazy publisher?
Is obvious that's a Gameplay. You can see the HUDs everywhere. That looks so good that makes me believe that's not a WiiU game.... I mean, if that was the in-game footage, surely that would be amazing, but judging for WiiU specs I still think that the actual game won't look as good as the trailer

I'm buying a Wii U just for this game.
It says something when Xenoblade, already one of the greatest games ever created, was made as a tech demo for this. I cried tears of joy when I saw the trailer. My d*** was hard as a rock. My body is not ready for this.
Here is my better quality gif, you'd forget that this game has monsters and stuff. No X topic is complete without these lol

One thing worth noting is how smooth the gameplay is. Not only does it look fantastic, it also runs like a dream. It doesn't look beyond PS3 or 360. It does however look so awesome

Well, Killzone 2 trailer taught me not to judge graphic of a game too early
Although I think when X came out other game likes Crysis 3 or The Last of Us will make us feel X's graphic is nothing special

Killzone 2 had no gameplay at all when first revealed in that E3 trailer.
Also considering how bad Xenoblade looked on the Wii compared to other first party games because of its scale, whatever Retro and EAD show will finally put an end to this whole WiiU = PS360 sentiment if this hasn't already.

Crysis 3 on PC yes, Consoles no way. The Last of Us is not an open world game and don't have the scale of X. So no. I think that X is the First truly nextgen game on Consoles. And is in beta stages, so i expect improvements.I didn't realize how good it looks until the last gif, It looks amazing, will next gen twins look better, probably, but it still looks amazing. No X topic is complete without these lolugoo18
It looks pretty good, but I think the thing that amazed me the most was the battling of the giant monsters (did remind me of Monster Hunter at one point but still is different) and the sheer scale of the game. Oh yeah... giant mechs or gears too.
I'm not sure how much of this scale will be defined but I'm guessing it will still be fairly meaty without just downtime to go to places.
Monolith Soft said they wanted to be for Japan as what Bethesda is to the West. They were talking about the scale of their next project and saying they want to surpass the scale of Oblivion, Skyrim, and Fallout 3.It looks pretty good, but I think the thing that amazed me the most was the battling of the giant monsters (did remind me of Monster Hunter at one point but still is different) and the sheer scale of the game. If this is anything as big and epic in scale as Xenoblade, but with those graphics, then Monolith Soft will have cemented their place in the gaming pantheon. It looks pretty good, but I think the thing that amazed me the most was the battling of the giant monsters (did remind me of Monster Hunter at one point but still is different) and the sheer scale of the game. It again doesn't look outta the Ps3 and 360s realm but Xenoblade really isn't empty, its open world and that's how open world games look . . .opne :?

Don't waste your time, he just argues for the sake of arguing.
Anyways, I'm surprised by this game. I thought it would take a couple of years for WiiU games to look this good and I never thought they'd have these visuals with this sense of scale. Its impressive.

It is a cut above PS3 and 360.. just look at the draw distance, the textures (especially ground), general level of detail and the stable framerate.
You think so? I don't really see it, it looks like a high end PS3/360 title but I don't look at it and go "impossible on other systems" or anything.
