Can the wii stop GTA4,Lost Odyssey, Halo 3,Too Human, Bioshock( in games wise)

I came to the conculsion the right time casuals will jump form last to this gen. Expect sales to rise in September for both Sony and Xbxo360. Expect Sony to grow in November when GTA4 comes out. Now I know the game is multi-plat, but the average casual know GTA = PS brand. It's like Madden football.Socrates88

I doubt that unless Sony drops the price of the PS3 to $400 USD... ANd even still if the 360 drops it's price to $300 you'll be right back to square one. I think the only thing that'll save Sony right now is to use some VERY cleaver marketing and push the bloody hell out of bluray..

lol. You confuse are you? You think I'm dissing the 360? No, I'm giving my opinion on what will hapen in the next 6 months. Casuals don't care about multi-plats and exclusive. If their favorite game is on their favorite system they will buy it. It's all about loyalty with them.

Why do people say things like this as if they expect the Wii to simply stop selling and think the Wii has no games coming out. Witht he holiday season I would think all systems will get a bump however it isn't like the Wii is going to stop doing well just because the PS3 or 360 have great games coming out. What matters is the systems themselves selling. The 360 is in a better position due to it's price. The PS3 can have all the great games you want but if the price stays $600 it isn't going to matter as it's sales will still be low and as a result more and more people hardcore and casual will go toward the 360 and the Wii whichis what they are doing now.

Sony needs to drop the price on the PS3 in a serious way. I know it's not possible but it needs to happen.Ihopetheysomehowcaninthecomingmonthsoryear.IreallywanttoplayWhiteKnightStory.

On the GTA4 situation. I think by the very nature of the 360 having a bigger install base compared to the PS3 that it will do better on that system. The commercials most likely will have both logos in them. Even if people don't have either system yet and want the game when they go to the store they will see both systems, one for $600 and the other for $400 or maybe less if they go for the core since last time I check the game wouldn't be using the harddrive anyway. That game isn't going to help the PS3 like some think even if the past several GTA games were on the PS2 and PSP. Brand loyality only goes so far and a high price point can kill it and these past few months should have shown that.

Is the other way around! Most parent will buy a Wii rather than 360 for their Kids. They dont care what gamesare out or not. Wii is cheaper and is an "IN " item to have.

games wise, it will be interesting...Wii will have RE Umbrella, SSBB, MP3, Super Mario Galaxy, and a few more i am looking forward too. PS3 does have good games coming out (Heavenly Sword, MGS4)and we all know that everyone and thier little brother will buy Halo 3

Wii can battle alright, but i dont know about its "stopping power"
