Can we Finaly Hype Killzone 2?

I know this game was mad hyped when we first set our eyes on it (I was there with a different account), but Cows, Lemmings, and Sheep seemed to come to an agreement that all the hype and arguement over the game would stop till we were shown more... I guess everyone forgot about it because its been a long time sense I've seen any really hype threads about the game... Its been thrown into random converations, but nothing worth noting in the grand scale of system wars...

I forgot about this game until tonight and I decided to watch a few videos because I heard that there was talk of a Beta for it in a few weeks... And can I say I'm surprised that cows have not been pulling it up at all in some of the system war battles... The game looks extremely promising and sound like it will be the next thing that I can play as much as I played Halo 2... Watching the video of the sniper picking people out of the crowd in a multiplayer game looked insane and the animations on the rovalver just make me want to pee my self...

I can't wait to get a clan going with some friends and seeing what we can do with it... Unlike other clan systems in past games this one sounds great... you start with some number of points and then you can bet them in a challenge... This could add so much more to it if they pull it off right...

If there really is a Beta for this game I would drop the $25 Qore (or what ever it was)... I was able to get into the "Friends and Family" Halo 3 beta, but I don't think I'll be that lucky with Killzone...

Its been said that the beta could be coming within weeks... I think it could not hurt to hype a little...

Multiplayer footage (being played hands on) and hands-on previews of that + knowing if it has co-op or not for sure would be useful for hype.

Other than that , all we have is what we saw in videos and some multiplayer details.

From what we have seen and previews have said, I would say AA as well.

This game has constantly been hyped,

but also constantly un-hyped by xbox fans... seriously, in every KZ2 thread you'd have at least 1 Lemm say 'OMG I can't believe you're hyping this game the first one sucked'

I'm confused... As of now its not hyped anything, so what does AAA or bust mean??? do you think its either AAA or 5.0? Does think mean you don't think it will score AA?

To avoid another "Too Human/Haze" fiasco, there needs to be one last hype thread just to be done with it.

Its been a long time sense its really been hyped... back when we first saw it was really the only time there was major hype for it... and there was so much hate hype that they really canceled each other out...

Somebody needs to do a new hype thread and be done with it. KZ2 has switched bettern AAA and AA a few times.Lionheart08

I don't think it would be smart to be done with it... MAbye one now (before the Beta)... then one after the beta... and then a last stand finaly in January or Feb...

it got a lot of hype during the summer when more gameplay and multiplayer was shown, but not so much the past month. But still, give the game a break with the hype and see when more stuff is shown.

If there is a hype thread it needs to be without a poll.

the game wont be out before Feb 2009 so still early... however its one of those games am really looking forward to play..

Exactly... since the dawn if the PS3 we've been told, almost constantly, that Killzone 2 was coming... and that it was going to be big... whereas anyone who played the first just goes... meh!

KZ2 was hyped ever since the target render was released years ago. Then when they finally showed the game last year at E3........the hype went into overdrive. The game has been hyped probably more than any PS3 title.

No reason to hype it just yet. So many good games coming out before it.

It is the time to get hyped (disappointed) for those games.
