Can we just nominate a select few sites from which reviews are allowed?????

I mean, this is getting rediculous, on ALL sides. We're getting all these bargain basement images of possible mag scans that don't mean crap. Reviews from fanboy or biased sites. And everything in between.

I have heard many say that they feel IGN and GS are the ones they are most comfortable with in being unbiased and fair.

Can we nominate (what do you guys say, 4?) 4 "Official Review" sites for us to comment and quote. This way, all of the other trash is left aside and not filling these boards. And this way, no reviews are actually discussed before any reviews are actually released. Wouldn't that be nice?

What do you gusy think? Is this fair? How many sites should be alloted? How often should it be reviewed (new sites chosen, swapped whatever to keep it fresh)?

BTW, this has been done SO MANY TIMES. Its always resolved into only gs. and even if we kept 4 official sites, anyone could use any other site the same way they use them now. You provide no solutions. Having 4 or 1 official site will not stop people from making those kinds of posts.

But how do you prove reliability with all of the sources out there? I must say, i have a hard time believing a mag scan, especially if its very low quality.

You know what issad? A few months ago only GS score would matter. GS had the best gaming forums and the best review system. Now it's left only with the forums. Anyway, i think the best way to see a game value is its ratio on GameRankings. Single reviews GS was the best. Well, that is past.I don't care about GS reviews anymore, but i still love these forums.

I dont know about GS anymore, after what they did with such a great game...Bioshock. A game like this after ages and GS gives it a 9.0 for crappy reasons.

I am now starting to lean more towards reviews from IGN.

However, WE SHOULD VALUE OUR OWN OPINIONS ON A GAME MORE THAN ANYONE ELSES.

Everyone has a different taste in gaming. For example, there are people who absolutely love, say...Halo, and there are some who hate it. Also, those who are in between.

Why let one good or bad review change how you feel about the game? If it comes this far, GO RENT THE GAME and try it first.

They write the best reviews. Period.

if a game that anyone wants to score well and it does at some random site someone will post it...no question..

the only one that should matter here is the one gs gives a game..

or you should just play the game yourself and see what YOU think of it..

you mean well but i expect the mods have a hard enough time keeping system wars in check as it is instead of chasing downeveryone who posts something about a game getting good scores at a martian web site...daveg1

They change the rules almost on a daily basis. You have to look at the stickies everyday to see what you can and can't discuss.

That is why we select a chosen few. Then no one can say one doesn't count or counts over another. The chosen few would be equal.
