[QUOTE="soulitane"][QUOTE="DarkLink77"]But the "nextbox" was used for the last xbox  its why i never got why ms didn't just number their consoles....xbox3 would have been painless Not what I was getting at, but I think the reasoning was that xbox 2 sounds worse than PS3, higher number and all that. :P Could be wrong bust I swear that's what I read back in the day.Call it the Durango or the Nextbox like everyone else.
Problem solved.

You are absolutely right. We know that the Xbox 2 and PS3 (if it were called that way) were pretty close to eachother when it comes to power, but your average gamer would go with the console that has the highest number because it 'looks' better.
Same reason the PS Vita wasn't called the PSP2 when the 3DS had a '3' in it.
[QUOTE="Speedzilla"]Haha Also, lastplacebox since Microsoft has finished in dead last place for two gens in a row They actually managed to beat Nintendo last gen. Surprising, considering the Gamecube was a much better system overall, outside of a few games and Xbox LIVE.Sure...how about Kinectbox or nogamesbox? Sounds fitting.

I honestly can't tell if you're being sarcastic :PHaha :P. But that really is the reasoning of the average consumer. Same why games (and so many things) are priced at 59,99 and not 60. The difference is really small but in the eye of consumers the first is a way better deal.

Calling a closed system Freedombox is what I would call false advertisement :P
Wouldn't be advertising if there wasn't some lying involved.[QUOTE="freedomfreak"]Wouldn't be advertising if there wasn't some lying involved.R4gn4r0k
True, I love advertising where you just know they are lying but they present their product dead serious like in infomercials :P
They're the best :D[QUOTE="freedomfreak"]freedombox. It represents America, and me.TheWalkingGhostIf it represents America, FatA**Box would work better. Or maybe PizzaBox.
It's funny because in college all of the foreign students gained weight. All of them. Wonder why.....
EDIT: In 'Murica to clarify.
It;s true though. TheWalkingGhostYou shouldn't generalize. I do podcasts with my church group. There's few of us, but we manage. I'll PM some information. You can join us, and listen in. We talk about all the things wrong in the world. I'll talk with them about the issues on generalization. Should make for a good topic.

So basically these podcasts are week long events?
I've been watching a guy do reviews of infomercials and their products, it's hilarious :lol:R4gn4r0komg That is just bonkers. That doesn't look ridiculous at all :P
So basically these podcasts are week long events?lild1425Oh, there is so much to talk about all the bad things in the world, this is sadly true. We try.
How can you sell that thing with a straight face hahaR4gn4r0kHer face didn't look that straight while selling it though :P

Damn, that was creppy! :|
Makes me glad I don't watch the TV anymore, I remember lots of that crap from back in the day, maybe nothing as bad as that one, but plenty came close!
