Can you do this with PSN?

Send out a private chat to your friend/brother and have him accept and then talk to him while you navigate the dashboard, watch a DVD, download shadow complex and then you wanna play GTA4 online so you just tell your friend/brother to put in his game and then you just join a game and finish having online fun and still talk to your friend/brother without having to log on or disconnect. I dont know maybe im not doing something right but is there anyway to do this on PSN? Please let me know if there is cause I really like this option. Thanks

i do know when i claimed ownage on you for saying that the 360 would have better world wide sales numbers in 2009 when the 360 had its price drop and you disputed me and LOST!!!!

Please explain to me how communication is "better" and more "seemless" on the 360 than the PS3 other than being able to talk to your friends when you are playing different game because I still fail to see how talking to people that are even playing the same game is a "HUGE" asset to playing online.

You really need to be able to chat while wathcing movies and not being able to chat with people playing other games than me really cramp my style when trying to lay down those strategies :roll:
