Yes it can, and it runs it with the majority of settings on Very High.

Big tip; Open up the command console type con_restricted=0 and then r_ssao=0 for a 5-8FPS boost with no really noticable loss in Image Quality.

yes on medium high settings. my buddy and i were talking last weekend about getting together and building new pc's to run it at max. we figure this always is the best time to build them because parts are constantly onsale after the holiday rush. good time to build a high powered pc for low cost.

I can run it at full medium settings. however, ive found that the game is pretty Meh. it must need good graphics to be fun, like GeOW.

Pretty solid on high, although I had major slowdowns in one specific area.

I run it with custom settings with settings varying from high to ultra high with steady 30 fps(On rare occasions it dropped to 25 fps) at 1280*1024 resolution. I didn't bother to use AA because it looked very good even without AA.

Too bad you are doing something wrong. I have a x1950 pro which is quite a bit slower than the 7950gx2 and I still get 24-30 fps with high shaders and objects, medium other stuff except for physics and sound, with a bunch of DX10 eyecandy sets forced (god rays etc) at 1024x768

my system is pretty low end but not that out dated, although i'm going to wait until I rebuild (in progress) to get this game. I'm gonna buy part by part so I can get higher end stuff withough buying it all at once.

I can run the demo @ 1280x1024 - medium settings

and @ 1024x768 - high settings.

I get around 25-30 fps which is quite playable.

I'll buy the game when I upgrade so that I can max it out.

Yeah, I'm SLI with 7600gts, so only just runs smooth on medium, at 1024X768. Freaking sweet though.

Bad idea, if you want a budget card, get a radeon HD 3850, it completely destroys the nvidia 8600 at only a little higher price.
