Canada will be getting a major gaming event

Games Convention (one of the biggest game shows in Germany and Asia) organizers confirmed today to Gamekyo that 'a new game show is currently being developed for the North American market.'. The real surprise is that the new game show won't apparently take place in the US (E3 should be reassured...), but probably in a city in Canada, 'We'll decide about the place of the new event in cooperation with the games industry. It seems to become a city in Canada, not in the US. We'll inform you as soon as we arrived at a decision [...], we are still in negotiation.' says Games Convention organizers. Stay tuned.

as for more of the history, BNA (british north america) was being fought for by the french and british, the english beat the french in the war and instead of forcing them to leave BNA they let them stay as long as they follow the birtish/canadian charter/ law, btu they f'd that up completely making quebec all french, but bcz the canadian charter was poorly written they can get away with it. and it all started from there and has gotten worse since

I'm suprised it's taken this long to be honest. Canadian developers (Bioware, Relic, Ubi Montreal, EA Canada and others) are some of the best in the world.

And chances are it would be in Vancouver or Montreal, since they have a larger concentration of developers than TO.
