This is no fanboy thread!

First this is what im thinking at the moment.

Ive played both ps3 and the 360. And they are great both consoles and to be honest i cant see any graphical differences between the two.

When i play on the 360 i get a good feeling, i cannot describe it but its like im in my own world, having fux relaxing, the same with the ps3.. but i dont get the same feeling.. this is just how i feel, not you..me.

The games that appeal are:

Ps3: Uncharted 1, uncharted 2, ratchet and clank, killzone 2, god of war 3, gran turismo 5, ressistance, infamous.

xbox 360: Halo 3, mass effect 1, mass effect 2, forza 3, halo odst, the new halo, dead rising 1 and 2, alan wake.

But since most of the games coming out now are multiplatforms like bioshock 2, assassins creed, fifa10, max payne 3 and so on exclusives doesnt matter that much, they both got an equaliy lineup.

I also got big hands so the 360 controller fits more into my hands. The 360 online is better but it costs.

Bahh i cannot decide.........

IMO the 360

why? online, and games but it's just my opinion

the ps3 is a solid system, so you can't really go wrong with either decision

which console do the majority of your friends have?

It sounds like your leaning to the 360, so I would go with that. Plus, its also at least $100 cheaper right now.

"trust your fellings Lu.....er, Darth" You get a good feeling when playing 360 and although you appreciate the PS3, it's not the same for you. Always trust these intuitive feelings. They never steer you where you don't need to go. Get a 360.

Here is what you do if you can only get one. I will do it in steps.

1) Go here and here. Look carefully at what each system offers you.

2) Then go here and here and read up on the PSN and XBL and see what each offers you.

3) Once you have done both, go here and see what each system is going to cost you, and while you are there, click here and here to see what games and such are coming soon and/or what the games out now will cost you.

Once you go through those 3 steps, you are in a good position to judge which system would be better off for you, as it is a personal choice, and no one else should make it for you.

If you watch alot of movies and play games= PS3

If you want all the features to be centered JUST around games then 360

Both are great though.

IMO i say chose the ps3 it got an amzeing exclusives and u can play ps1 games, blu-ray..etc.. but that really depends on you, i mean what u really like, the price tag, your friends etc..

im used to sony consoles so bought the ps3 and since all my friends have a ps3 that was also a plus for me

i dont have a 360 but its a good console too so again depends on you and good luck :)

It is my opinion that the PS3 gives you more value for your money. It has all this media features that I constantly use and I have no fear that it will suddenly break down (although it could happen). If you care only about games and you don't mind about its high failure rate then get the 360 because it's cheaper.

I would find a friend that would be willing to swap consoles back and forth. Like, first you finish Uncharted, Resistance, and iNFAMOUS, and then he finishes Alan Wake, Halo 3, and Mass Effect 2. Then you guys swap consoles and play those games, and then you can swap back and play more of your games. You have to find a trusting friend. I've never swapped consoles, but I have swapped games before.

360 is certainly more versitle, but the PS3 is a solid piece of hardware. I own both and play my 360 a lot more, so I guess it's up to what you prefer in exclusives.

since you like to play online, if your are 18 and over i would recommend getting a ps3 due to the number of mature users on PSN that really put up a good challenge for every game. if you are younger however i would suggest getting a 360 and that way your parents will pay monthly fee contracts for live :)

Funny, most of the people I end up playing with on XBL are adults. There are a few kids, sure, but they are very often the vast minority.

I like the PS3 better, but, fanboyism aside, 360 is still a good console. All I can say is that if you get a 360, go with the Elite.

PSN is mature most of the time but sometimes you get the wannabe gangsters or little kids, but my friends have told me that XBL is just the same.

Are you sure it's $100 cheaper?! You pay $50/year per ID. PS3 allows as many as you like free. PS3 comes with rechargable controllers and wifi built-in and the 360 doesn't, so they're extra money and hassle to add them.

This is pretty easy, XBOX 360 without a doubt. I feel if you want a PS3 wait for the possible pricedrop and get one later, I could not go without a 360 though.

There both great systems, but if you wanna spend less money and have a better online service overall, then get a 360. if you get more money and want a great piece of modern tech, then get a ps3. i have both, and like them both, but i often find myself playing my 360 more.

GAMES

360- Halo 3, Oblivon, Gears of war 1 and 2, Mass effect, Bioshock, Call of duty 4

PS3- Metal Gear Solid 4, Warhawk, Soul Calibur 4, Infamous.

monthly fees alone wont even last 2-3 months to justify the 100 dollar difference. ROFOL!!!

since you like to play online, if your are 18 and over i would recommend getting a ps3 due to the number of mature users on PSN that really put up a good challenge for every game. if you are younger however i would suggest getting a 360 and that way your parents will pay monthly fee contracts for live :)stylesPS3

Im 29 and dont see any reason to get a PS3. Ohhh....i should be an odd guy :|

yeah I have no clue what he means by mature users on PSN last time i played MGO they were spaming the chat box with uh genitals and just cursing off but its MGO so the gameplay is terrible as well

kids dont care that their parents pay for live, which is why live has more kids.
