He's being sarcastic, I think. Why would he call R* lazy for bringing us one of the biggest games ever?
i dont think swimming was invented thenbenbeckmanof course it was, don't be absurd, the ability to swim was one of the earliest requirements of the english navy as far back as the 1600's, humans have been able to swim since the iron age,lol Any way, although i have to admit i am a tad dissapointed by this, it won't stop me getting the game on friday, does seem a bit backwards since GTA games have had the ability to swim since san andreas, and the wild west was not all desert and there are plaenty of lakes and rivers in that part of america

A lot of people don't even know how to swim today, in a swimming pool, I doubt a lot of people in the "desert" knew how to swim well. IDK, it's just a game. Swimming was boring and loooooong in GTA IV anyway.
I think it's got to do with the guns & water. You could do it in GTA, but I think RDR is going for realism. Just a guess.
HAha, yeah. Niko was a magician, popping out RPG's from his inside pockets.I think it's got to do with the guns & water. You could do it in GTA, but I think RDR is going for realism. Just a guess.

Not to mention being able to survive falling from sky scrapers.
you have hit on agood point, modern firearms cna be immersed in water and still fire (i know i was in the army for 6 years), but in those times that was not the case, bullets where not crimped as well and as water tight the way they are now,one would therefore assume that people of that era would avoid water at all costs, especially as a fully working firearm was pretty much a nessesity.I think it's got to do with the guns & water. You could do it in GTA, but I think RDR is going for realism. Just a guess.

Lol, yeah, if you got a good angle on a drop then you'd survive.I've never thought of that until now. :oYou realize that not everyone in the Wild West knew how to swim, don't you?
