In the end, Keyboarders will completely and utterly destroy the Controller crowd. The arguing wont matter, efficiency will win out.

I love the concept. The more competition, the better. But I predict some games that will be labeled "X360 controller only! NO KB/M!!!!!"...

It's just MS' way of telling the community of "Screw you" by bringing together two different communities that already hate each other. All you see in games are "360 players only" or "PC players online". Live Anywhere is pointless. If they really want to bring a gaming community together, they should have PS3 and 360 users play together.chrismunx

I believe you are correct.  There is no way that Microsoft is going to allow PC gamers to use a keyboard/mouse, and Xbox 360 gamers to use a controller.  The Xbox 360 crowd would get slaughtered, and Microsoft is not about to let the Xbox 360 look bad.

So, they are either going to only allow controllers on both platforms, or offer a keyboard and mouse for the Xbox 360.  If they only allow controllers, then most PC gamers won't bother with Live Anywhere. 

My guess is that they are going to release a keyboard and mouse for the Xbox 360.  Older Xbox 360 games may need a patch to be compatible with K/M.

I might be the only one, but I actually prefer a controller over a mouse and keyboard.

Umm I don't think this will happen, maybe for some games like Shadowbane.. (from what i hear the have programmed the game to be harder for mousers)

Dumb idea to do it for all games, because the mouse can look precisely anywhere on the xyz axis (lol im a geek)

I have no problem with the controller. Why does everyone say that the controller is bad for FPS's? It works just as good as a K/M for me, except its more comfortable and the buttons are easier to quickly press.NicktehImperial

It's not bad for FPS games at all.  It's just that the mouse is a lot twitchier which means you can be more accurate. 

Controllers are much more comfortable though, imo.  And  I choose comfort over precision.  It's only games where you have to "point and click" that I find unplayable with a controller, like RTS games (most of the time, anyway).

I'm not bashing PC gaming or anything, it's just my opinion :)
