Can't we agree PS2 is the greatest system ever?!!!

I mean, PS1 was amazing, PS3 is awesome, psp is pretty cool, but really the PS2 is the greatest Sony, and greatest system of all time.

The Super Nintendo was awesome, as well as Nes. N64 definitely had some high times. GAme cube was meh and so far the wii is meh.

The xbox was good, but Halo 2 and Fable made it. The 360 is literally a "360". MS was able to get devs to make the 360 AMAZING. Favorite system this gen hands down. It's 2nd on the greatest system list :)

About equal to the original Xbox IMO.

But I liked the PS1 better, but that's probably because I was a kid when I had the PS1 and more things entertained me.

I can agree with that. The PS2 was epic.

I agree that the PS2 can take any number of spots below the SNES and Sega Dreamcast in terms of "Best System Ever"

So the PS2 can be 3rd, or dead last, but never 1st or 2nd :)

PS2 was second in the history on 6th generation consoles, IMO. Xbox beat it, but it was ahead of Gamecube and Dreamcast :P

One of. The PlayStation definitely has one of the greatest libraries for its time. I'd argue it is better than the PS2's for its time but overall, the PS2's is better.

Plus, Shadow of the Colossus. I cannot argue with that.

N64 would have been the best if the controller was built for the human hand, and if it used CDs.

Of course "we" won't agree. It's a matter of opinion.

I've never owned a PS2 but from its thousands of games and excessively numerous Greatest Hits, it makes a strong case.

For me, it still is the N64, whatever people say, that console made my childhood, well after I was done with NES, SNES, Genesis, etc... let's say late childhood.

4....

5....

6....

7. PS2

PS2 is the King. Its still beating the dead horses that are the Gamecube and Xbox and its library of exclusives is as close to perfection as we will ever get.

My brother had one so I can easily assess it's quality, although there were some good titles, I still feel the rose colored goggles have taken over at this point.

Do you not realize how immense the PS2 library was? "Some good titles" equates to probably 10% of the good games in the PS2 library.

PS2 is the greatest but Sony haters will never admit it. also, 360 is not 2nd. PS1, SNES, Genesis > 360. more so, when till this gen is over before adding PS3, 360 or Wii to the list

Maybe you don't understand............ I don't care how many titles it had. They have to appeal to me to be considered worthwhile. FF sucked during the PS2 era, MGS is the worst series ever, and Gran Turismo got old after 2. Honestly, the system is ok. The other RPG's are good, thats about all I will give it.

1. SNES Has to be the snes look at all the titles that were on it and are still here.

2. PS1 very similar to snes just not as many beloved games

3. ps2. It was the least powerful of its generation Gamecube/Xbox were more powerful but wiped the floor with them.

4. PS3/360/Wii each has thier pluses and minus's but I prefer Ps3>360 not by much and the wii has the least amount of fun games but me and my friends always end up playing mario kart everytime.

Because in last gen, sales-wise and gameplay-wise the PS2 still had games that could compete, and defeat, its competitors. The PS2's graphical capabilities was surely inferior, but the gameplay did not get affected, they were still as smooth as they're intended to be. The wii is vastly inferior and gameplay is way behind with other ports.
