Is this news to anyone?
Although I'm sure DMC4's controls could somehow be done with the wiimote, then again maybe not.
whoever even hinted the graphics on the wii could be DMC4 standard? as for the control...alia999
Exactly. Everyone already knew this. The controls would have been terrible even if a gamecube controller could be used imo.
as far as graphics go: DUH...
as far as controls go: DMC4 has the most ancient controls and camera possible. very last gen. a true turn of
Don't worry sheep, you're not missing much. Walk into a room, door on the other side gets blocked all of a sudden, bad guys appear (some of the worst characters I've seen in a game), beat up the bad guys, door gets unblocked, walk into another room, rinse and repeat.
This linear turd makes a very linear game like Uncharted look sandbox.
And believe me, the controls are nothing special. Could be done on the Wii, no doubt.
I will give the game some credit for graphics. it does look nice.

You're either drunk or ignorant. It would be a pain in the ass to control DMC4 with the wiimote, the movements are too quick and precise. I smell n00b
And honestly it's characters/enemies are awesome, probably the best enemy design I've ever seen in this genre.(better than GoW, NG and HS).

its doubtful whether waggle would have to be used at all. There are plenty of buttons on the wii remote.
DMC4 uses a lot of buttons. It really can't be played with the default Wii controller, nor the GC one. The classic would be better, but still awkward.as far as graphics go: DUH...

it really must be a sad time to be a sheep. all they have to fall back on this year is brawl. every thread that talks about PS3 and 360 has brawl in there from sheep. worst lineup of games since the pippen ....prodiqy32
nah, they have much more, they are just games you don't have the open mind to play for. go play your shiny shooter/ fighter.

I think if sheep had more open minds they would see that there's a lot more variety on the other platforms than Shooter/fighters...

No, you're smelling your upper lip. I played the game, dude. No noob here.
Precise controls,

well, i know, and i have all three and i'll play any game that has interesting gameplay. but the peoiple that critisize the wii aqre usually xenophobic teenagers that just play shooters and fighters.
This makes anyone with a non ignorant brain think twice. I mean...why does everyone take everyones word for everything!?
If they can make a friggin Mario game! Which is known for their insanely tight controls work amazing then why couldn't a DMC game work just as well if not better considering the fact that they are ancient. Simpel hack and slash controls is not that hard to make.
I don't know where this waggle nonsense comes from. Waggle is just one of many possible movements.
Its capable of smooth motion. But somehow the teh shake for nimpo power, teh six degrees of freedom is ok, move your PS3 controller like a two handed paper aeroplane.

No More Heroe's controls were great and the A-button was attack. Whoever says the wii remote be applied to a good action game is simply ignorant.
awwww capcom broke wii owners heartmingo123
Wow, at least your easy to spot, with that sig, Wii-hater.
Truth is, as Wii owner, just like 360 and PS3 owners, I've had my heart broken many times.
Unfortunately, this is not one of them. Get back to me when the game your laughing about doesn't suck.
It's no secret the Wii has no HD for a 40 minute install, nor does it have the ability to render the textures and keep the framerate up. If capcom wanted to port it, they could, but it would be tanamount to creating a new game. Wii owners aren't stupid, Tupac. We understand what quotes mean, and no, we're not gonna cry because you get DMC 4 and we don't. We already got way better games from capcom and Nintendo on our system in 08. Enjoy burnout and dmc 4 though. Good luck in sales. Buy SSB:B I think it needs your support.

sheep love live in the past. oh and thats the ps3 version of dmc4. keep buying the shovelware to support the big budget games for 360 and ps3 little sheep
As far as i'm concerned, No More Heroes proves to me that the wii controller is superior to traditional for these type of button mashing kind of games.
I've only played the demo of DMC4 so far, but based on it i was not impressed. Especially after NMHs. Though, i'll have further comments in the near future, as i play to pick up DMC4 none the less.
[QUOTE="locopatho"]360 has better graphics than Wii. Wii has only one control stick. So ya it's pretty obvious.JAB991
But the second control stick could be remapped to the Wii's IR.
For a shooter that works. Doesn't really work if it's used to dodge or move camera.

Dpad works fine for camera movement, at least it did in no more heroes.
As good as a second analog stick? No.. but, at least in NMHs it was not bad at all.
As for dodging, same thing. No more heroes had you press the dpad in a direction, while z-targeting, to dodge. Again, it worked perfectly.

Oh NO! I am angry and am going to cry!
Well, no. I own all 3 consoles sir. The Wii is just my favorite, and yes, DMC4 ruins the legacy. I never understood the tradeoff. If you don't have a Wii, it's like your playing the greatest games from all the developers in the world, except the best one. That would be provable here:

Why would anyone not own a Wii? Talk about living in the past.[QUOTE="locopatho"][QUOTE="JAB991"][QUOTE="locopatho"]360 has better graphics than Wii. Wii has only one control stick. So ya it's pretty obvious.blahzor

Fair enough. NMH isn't out yet here, so I'll take your word for it.
Yeah, and we believed you when it was only possible on the PS3. Wait, no we didn't.

As for the topic, i'm not sure how many people realize that just because a producer doesn't see a viable way to port a game doesnt' mean it doesn't exist.. geeze.

samusarmada
it would have to be used. there's not that many buttons on the wiimote that can be reached easily.
