RE4 is on the wii
RE5 is only(yeah, I said it:twisted: )RE4 with better graphics, so..............
need I say more?
If they released Resident Evil 5 with RE4 graphics on the Wii, I would buy Resident Evil 5 twice.
Yes, the Wii Edition was that good.
It would be fairly easy to have a Wii version. I'd buy it over the other versions because it would most likely have superior control.RE4 is on the wii

Nope, so, since RE5 is only RE4 with better graphics, and Wii can't produce those graphics, you might as well stick to RE4, since minus the graphics RE5 is an exact 100% replica apparantly.

The Extra power in the PS3/360 offers more than graphics.
AI, Physics, improved Atmosphere, Graphics, Higher Resolutions, etc. A game like RE BENEFITS greatly from Graphics.
Assuming the games will be only different because of graphics and controls is naive at best.

Anyways, TC, YOU HAVE FAILED TO PROVE THIS IS REAL. This is the 3rd THREAD LIKE THIS IN SW that I know of, and they all fail with NO PROOF.
this looks like bull----. How can it be officialkaangonultas
It's a generic poll probly threw a polling compnay, haven't you ever done online polls before.
BTW this doesn't mean that Capcom is even considering it... but they might change their mind.
I'd buy it twice, if it was on two consoles.

AI in an RE game is not needed. The physics are the same. The extra power does little to the atmosphere. But i agree with the graphics and higher res part. But 480p still looks very good if you have the right tv. I'd rather have superior controls.[QUOTE="SolidTy"][QUOTE="Bigboi500"]Where did I say that? Either way, Resident Evil is about ATMOSPHERE, and that is due to graphics. REmake was UBER popular, and it was just a Remade game with better graphics. RE is one of those games that benefit and sell due to graphics.
Also, although it's assumed RE4 Wii had the best controls, it was FAR from perfect. Capcom actually made adjustments to the game's difficulty, making it easier. I would say the RE4 Wii's controls were more fun, but not more EFFICIENT. There was DEFINATE POSITIVES, but there were drawbacks as well.
There will be plenty more differences if this was EVEN real, which so far hasn't been proven.
I have a Wii, and I wouldn't sacrifice a watered down port, in a game series that THRIVES on game atmosphere so I could point and click at Zombies.

This is resident evil, not dead rising. The judging from what i've seen, the ammount of enemies on the screen isn't that much greater than re4's. and even if it is, wii is 2-3x more powerful then gc so im sure it could handle it.I never said that atmosphere wasn't about graphics. I said it wasn't about power. Seriously, adding a bunch of HD textures to a game does not make it more atmospheric and at times can make it less. Atmosphere is more about creativity than power. Which is why Resident evil 2 was more atmospheric than 4 or System shock2 more atmospheric than bioshock etc...
They didn't adjust the games difficulty, the problem was, the controls were so good that it made the game easier. What drawbacks did it have?
