Casuals are very intrigued by Kinect.

People just like the fact that you can use your hands to move the menus around and you can tell it to play, stop, ff, rw, and pause movies. Gaming isnt going to be Kinects only sell and I think people have to start to realize that. For me, Kinect is a Day 1 purchase, preordered today and the guy at gamestop said its much more preordered than move for what its worth.

i think its got a lot of appeal among the WiiSports/WiiPlay/WiiFit crowd

personally i'd like to try it and play Child of Eden on it, which is why i pre-ordered one since i had the extra money and the relatives wanted to try it

hate to say it but thats very true....

I'm ahardcore gamerand i see three problems.

1. price

2.I'v heard you can't play it if your wearing black.(thats all i have)

3. Not everyone that plays game is that physically active.

Its probably going to sell well for a while but after 3 to 5 months the sales are going to start dropping.

My sister actually asked me about buying it. I told her she'd probably play it for a few days and then not play it anymore after that, just like she did with the nintendo wii. I'm still waiting for reviews though before I count it out entirely.

casuals tend to think things that are new.... even if its really stupid ..... as cool....they're casuals for a reason.... but will they buy it and play it for more than 2 weeks? thats the real question
