Cgreviews Infamous review - 8.7

Here is the first review I have seen. About what I am expecting, around the 9.0 mark.

Is this a legit review source , or is this a blog site reviewing the demo ?

Well, as an aside, the guy said that he does not get paid for this, so take it with a grain of salt. It was just the first 'review' that I have seen and figured I would post it. It was rather well written and informative, seemed unbiased, so I thought it would be worthwhile to see how other trusted reviews fall in line with this one. Around a 9.0 average - give or take a few points - is what I am expecting from this title.

I don't see IGN giving this game less than 9.0, myself. Just going by their abnormally positive, gushing previews, they would look kind of funny giving it anything less, lol. Reviews are more often times than not very unpredictable though, so we shall see.

There's also a 9.0 from a EU PS magazine and another 8.7 from another EU magazine.

Well, for a guy who said that he does not get paid to review, it sounded pretty unbiased to me. Maybe the lack of $ as an incentive is why, perhaps?:P Anyway around a 9.0 is the kinds of scores that I have been expecting and I wanted to post this as sort of a measuring stick for all of the 'trusted' reviewers, just to see how closely they all land.

So, just because you have never heard of them, it means their take on the game is completely worthless? It was one of the first posted reviews of the game, credible or not. I just wanted to see how closely other reviews from the big sites fall in line. As I am expecting similar scores across the board, myself.

Very equilibrated review, tough might have flaws, stuff that is 'opinion made' rather than "facted" and proved.

Damn. Typical tedious mission crap that all sandbox games suffer from. At least its short so it won't be too tedious. GTA4 and AC were so damn long it made the tedious missions even worse. Bread_or_Decide
