9.0 OMG!

Winning often requires luck as collisions are near impossible to re-create - Limited strategy as you're only allowed to use explosive chickens in a precise order rather than allowing a free-form solution to evil green pig problem WTF?

Chaos Rings comparable to Chrono Trigger. That's...quite the compliment. Don't have an iPhone so I can't dismiss this review by self-contradiction.
Oh, you know, this might make things clearer:
Slide to Play's rating scale. 1 - 4, so the constant 9s are just because GS estimates the score equivalent like Metacritic. I take back what I said about them, their scoring system is actually way better than GS'.
But Angry Birds still isn't fun.
[QUOTE="Shirokishi_"]Game Dev Story Is BEAST I Spent More Time Playing That Then Fallout 3 And I Play A lot Of Fallout 3.Not bad. Chaos Rings looks pretty good.
Unrelated but Game Dev Story also looks great.

I'm going to second this. Game Dev Story is definitely worth the price (no idea what it is right now)
Chaos Rings was really good. Touching story too, if a bit cliche. Game Dev Story is just beastmode. Automatic 10.

I think the GameSpot scores are given by Slide To Play, if they want the review on GameSpot at all. GS only has 43 reviews from 9.5 to 8.0. There's no way in Hell a 1 by STP's standards is equal to an 8.0 by GS'.
GS' review policy is far too different from STP's review policy. GS factors everything at once aside from price (Changes over time, scores would change all the time) whether good or bad while STP is willing to ignore flaws as long as the good outweighs the bad, the game is not buggy, and happens to be decently priced.
Should we give all games a try? Absolutely. People worked hard on [most of] these games and a lot of them are fun. That said, we've got to give respect where respect is due. I wouldn't dare dream of putting a game like Red Steel 2 on the same level as, say, Red Dead Redemption, though the two of them happen to be two of my favourites of this gen. I also can't buy many games unless they're all $1. Seeing as we're in the 'mainstream' gaming industry, that's not going to happen. Got to differentiate.

I bought it when it was on sale and it was $0.99. It's usually either $1.99 or $2.99 What a freaking steal even at the normal price.....[QUOTE="EliteM0nk3y"][QUOTE="Boomer642"] Game Dev Story Is BEAST I Spent More Time Playing That Then Fallout 3 And I Play A lot Of Fallout 3.funsohng
