Awesome! :) as i always say i hope now we get to see more JRPG's from Square Enix and hopfully get Star Ocean 4 so i wont have to buy the other console

The increase in sales is great and all, but without the actual numbers of units sold they don't really mean too much.

What goes around comes around. PS3 had no games, 360 fans gave us crap about it, ps3 got games. 360 fans gloated that the 360 was still outselling the ps3 in the us and a price drop wouldnt help. now what?

im tired of hearing, O sales matter now? yea sales mattered when the 360 was winnning you bet your @$$ they matter now, your precious 360 isnt winning anything anymore , not games, not sales not anything . whos waiting now?

i meant winning as far as outselling the ps3.

LOl @ bren128 calm down... i agree though Slims are selling like hotcakes But i Really Doubt it will last long i bet in a month or two sales with start to decrease by alot and if that happens i think its a shame because i just got my slim and honestly The thing is beasty. Killzone mgs4 Littlebigplanet > Gears and halo which were the only games i played on 360 and i thought gears and halo destroyed any game ps3 offered, boy was i wrong.jherbach1222

Let's be generous and say the 360 has a 7million unit lead. Assuming that this gen lasts 4 more years (which probably won't happen) that's 48 months. so 7,000,000 / 48 is almost 150k. So, the PS3 would have to outsell the 360 by 150,000 units every month for 4 years to just bridge the gap.

I said the 360 price drop wouldn't help stop the PS3 domination, there was a demand for the PS3 price drop and not so much for the 360. Just watch the sales climb going up to the holiday season. With great variety of exclusives this fall, PS3 is definitely going to be the best seller.

Well in a couple months it will be holiday season and most people got a 360 the past few years and or Wii so what else is there? Besides, like you said you are pretty impressed with some PS3 games and I don't think your the only one. I'm sure you probibly have friends over now wanting a PS3 right? It's only going to spread.
