That looks like it's on medium. Look at the grass draw distance.

And your post proves them wrong how? What you're saying is: buy this, then buy a gfx card, then buy a keyboard + mouse and an OS and you're done. Will it still cost the same as a console? I don't think so.

You made a nice point there sir.
Windows 7 alone which that PC need is $99 on that same site, lets add a mid range card from that same site.

$269 now this is more mid range than the 5770.
And wihtout Keyboard and mouse already that $299 PC is more like $667,with that you buy 2 PS3 or 3 core 360's with 1 game.
PC gamers than want to make see like PC gaming is cheap are as silly as console gamers who want to make see that console games look on par or even close to PC games.
And take into account this is this Generation which is way more expensive than last one, because sony went unltra high value and MS refuses to lower the price of the xbox 360 which should be $200 top by now premiun, last gen console gaming was even less expensive than PC gaming was, when you consider that last gen by the 5th year of the PS2 it was already priced like $149 or less and not $300 like the PS3 is now.
rofl what the **** are you talking about? http://ve3d.ign.com/images/fullsize/37599/PC/Crysis-Warhead/Screenshots/Crysis-Warhead-Merged-Comparison-1920x3240 THAT'S MAX SETTINGS SAME LEVEL AS MY SCREENSHOT it looks the exact ****in same as my screenshot.Hmmm yah his screen does look like lower settings.

One of the biggest differences is the draw distance on plants.
Your screenshot is missing quite a lot of plants on the ground in the distance compared to the other screenshot.

no it's not u cant see plants in the distance in mine or their screenshot. if you dont think that's max wow dude u need glassesYou missed the OS which would add another $150-300 depending on your choice. And then I need to spend another $250 or more on a mid range card that can play on max settings. You can make a PC cost whatever you want but if you want an advantage you have to put more money down. Right now if you want to get into gaming and don't what to spend $500 then get a console. Got the money then buy a PC that's worth it and not something trying to be a console.http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/searchtools/item-Details.asp?EdpNo=6817277&sku=B69-0250
Most of you people are usually talking about PC gaming being "so expensive", well for the price of a 360 or PS3, you can get this. Buy a good graphics card to replace that one and you can play most games on high or max. So much for spending over $1000 like most consolites say.
deadxsouls
I rather buy a $500 graphics card.... butseriously i would not recommend that PC to anyone. Make your own from scratch, do your ownresearch and look for the parts that are best for your budget.
