Chess in Home Confirmed!!

I just got done watching a video of Home on youtube and i notice in the video there is Chess sets on tables in the courtyard. Woot I love chess!

Home is guaranteed AAA now! Live has nothing going for it.

We can walk around and talk to people look at trophies(like in museums) and then play some chess, W00T cant wait for this PWNS anthing the 360 has.

It's a nice addition though. Personally i prefer 'go'. In chess i always have the feeling people use a form of pattern to beat their opponent. I prefer having a clean sheet to play with, though chess is a bit more practical to play :P

I wonder whether people are going to make use of these things. Sony would really have to compete nintendo for newcomers if they want Home to become as popular and fun as they want it to be.

Yay, a game 2000+ years old will save the PS3, no doubt about it.

lol - no. every PS3 owner with a mic that i've played against so far has been 12 years old or younger/ immature / racist. i think it's worse because there are so many rich kids that play PS3 that had their l33t yuppy mommies / daddies to get them a PS3 with teh bluray headsetz.

all told both are pretty terrible, but i've managed to find far more mature friends on 360 than PS3.

Maybe not cross-platform, but XBL Arcade does have chess.... packaged with checkers, reversi and mancala.

Sorry, but I doubt gambling would be brought into Home. It was an idea for the 360 and wasn't used either.
