Any comment on 12GB being enough? At this point, I'm not sure how often I'd play..resuerthe 12 gig is a joke.
you are going to spend all your time uninstalling and reinstalling games.
a ps3 with 12 gig will hold 2 games on it depending on the games and maybe not even 2.
gta 5 alone would take up 8 gig of it.
Off the top of my head, I'll play sports games, i.e. madden, fifa, nhl as well as sort of fantasy games and maybe some shooters - skyrim might be ambitious, assassins creed, maybe gta (i'm aware of the 8GB install on GTA..) - would attaching a USB or a card work? Or don't PS3's allow this? And is the same for Xbox (if I went for hte 4GB model)resuerAs far as I know you can attach USB sticks and drives to PS3 but I'm not sure how well they work for installing games.

Yeah not mentioning the fact that its likely closer to 9GB with the way things work. My 80GB PS3 is about 73GB or so.
You could always go for it and get a harddrive later as I believe someone else was saying. PS3 = Upgradeable storage.

sony should be embarrassed they released that garbage just to meet a price point.it is obvious the people they are aiming a 12 gig ps3 at have no clue they can swap out the hdd so what they are doing is selling a 95% useless ps3 to a bunch of people that don't know any better.

MS are gods for releasing their 4GB console though, right?
Simply look at the good exclusives these systems have:
Xbox 360
PS3
And decide. Obviously there are more exclusive to name.
[QUOTE="1080pOnly"]..or if you love Halo. Otherwise i agreeAt this point get the PS3. Free online, some good exclusives and a BR player.
Only reason to get the 360 would be for the better controller and better selection of racing games.
OhSnapitz
or loved PGR, Gears of War, Mass Effect, Lost Odyssey, Fable and the ton of other exclusives on the XBox.
His choice should be about games obviously. So whichever franchise he enjoys the most, go with that system.
