Can anyone recap what they thought about the 1994 Street Fighter Movie Staring Jean Cluade Van Damm as Guile

" SONIC BOOM"   That used to be funny.

Its safe to say that street fighter movie game was good.

I played it on a friend Sega Saturn.

There's another SF movie coming out.

Part of me says she shouldn't be Chun-Li. Another part says "wants to see Biel in Chun-Li outfit."

But Chun-Li is Chinese.

They must have ****ed that up. She has to be playing Kammy, no way they'd cast a white girl for Chun Li. Even Tom Cruise wouldn't be so bold (Last Samurai).  

The movie game was good, I felt they tried to make it look like MK with the motion capping though.

My point exactly.  Since thier going that route, that might as well cast Adam Sandler as Ken which will be an insult to one of my favorite video game characters ever.

There is a number of great video game videos out there so it could be good. There is Mario, Double Dragon and MK2 these three movies alone show how good a gaming movie could be.

What would be more of an insult/offensive is if they try to make her look chinese to play Chun-Li.

Well, I think Jessica Biel is more attractive than any other girl they would find for the part, but really, it shoud be an asian actress.  Jessica as Cammy would definitely fit a lot better. 

P.S.  Am I the only one who thought the original Street Fighter was a guilty pleasure?  Van Damme as Guile was hilariously awesome, and he did kick ass.
