Clearing up the PS3's lack of games misconception.

Reletive to the time of release, the PS3 is not far from 360's amount of AAA and AA titles. Here's how it looks.

Xbox 360 launch - November 22, 2005
PS3 launch - November 11, 2006

The PS3 has been out approximately 8 months. 360 would be into July 2006 by then so I'll be including all up to July 2006 titles. And PS3 up to the present time.

These are the games that make the list. Respectively, 360's pre-August 2006 list, 360's post-July 2006 list, and PS3's list.

I am including all PSN and XBLA games as well.

360 - 3 AAA, 20 AA
PS3 - 3 AAA, 18 AA

So you can see that PS3 is very much near 360's AAA and AA achievement. With all the games coming out for the PS3 which looks to be AAA and AA titles, PS3 is well on its way to either surpassing or matching 360 in terms of quality and quantity of games.

We'll see how much development it gets for the long haul. I'm skeptical though.

Last time I checked, game consoles should be meant for gaming, not for hauling expensive drives that serve no purpose in gaming.

Since May 360 has got 10 console esclusives and also another game not on PS3 ratoville or whatever that new Pixar movie is and a timed exclusive in Dirt. So since May 360 has got 12 games not on PS3

Since may PS3 has got 1 exclusive game MLB the show

That is just retail games. How is PS3 going to catch up at this rate?

I didn't even name all of them, just a few to get fanboys thinking. Not all will be AAA, but those are possibilities. Out of those 5, one will be AAA. And all of them are getting too much polish to be flopping below 8.0.

Your 7 Gig usable space on a 360 DL disc says hi. If you don't think they are running out of space on that turd think again. 2 years from now when you are changing discs....oh wait your 360 wont be operational in 2 years nevermind.

Every port is a year old as well. Just because oblivion was a year late every single port is a year late. Funny thing is the 360 version wouldn't be as good if they didn't start working on most of these PS3 ports AFTER the 360 version already shipped.
